Title of my message is let's talk about money. I mean, treasures. Relax. All right. You know, I mean, for most for most Christians, you know, when they come to church, that's one thing they don't want to talk about. You know, we talked about what I was going to wear this morning and I thought, you know what? I need to wear a bright tie. I need to wear a bright tie because I need to try. I'm trying to encourage you. I'm trying to, you know, it's like if the if the sun wasn't out, if the sun wasn't out, you know how it goes when the sun's not out. I may hear people. Some of you saw brother Scott Strobel and his wife here on Wednesday night and the good friends of mine. And she had mentioned to me how it's going to be dark in New York for the next three months. It's going to, you know, it's cloudy or whatever, you know, when you're over in London, you know, it's just dark. You know, there's no the sun doesn't shine through. [0:48] And I get it. You know, I like the sun. I like to I like to see the sun when it's just cloudy. I know. I'm just not thrilled. Anybody else like that? I like to see the sun and it makes sense because that's a type of Christ and all that. So it's good. It's good. But today I want to talk about I want to talk about your treasures. OK, and inevitably inevitably talking about treasures is going to get back to your money. You know what I'm saying? I mean, I get it. There are other treasures today. The aspect of what I want to look at has to do with money. I know. Understand. [1:23] Sometimes it's my kids are my treasure, you know, and then you spend all your money on them. Right. You end up back there anyway. So, I mean, I know I'm going to end up there. And then Christians don't generally like to talk about money in church because they think, oh, here he goes again. We're going to pass the plate. He wants my money somewhere. I ain't you know, I don't want your money. Well, I take your money, but you know what I'm saying? I don't get anything from it. So Christians don't generally don't like to talk about many things that have to do with spiritual work. Huh? I mean, if it totally makes sense, we live in the lay to see in Christianity, right? We'll look warm. Who wants to who wants to talk more about the work of God? It's just something that people don't really like to do. I mean, I get it. [2:11] You know, if I if I walked up to you and I said, hey, let's talk about passing out tracts, you would get in the conversation. But maybe back in your head, you're thinking, I don't have time for that. I'm doing something else on Saturday. I get it. Hey, I'm just like you. Right. I'm not somebody different because I get to preach sometimes. I'm I'm just like you. I sit in a pew. I think just like you. So, you know, talking about money for spiritual things is, you know, that's that's not something that we're all real thrilled about. And I, you know, here's a couple of examples, you know, you don't like the spiritual things. It's not the thing that's probably the thing you most excited about talking about. I understand, you know, we're in church. We're supposed to be Christian. You know, we are. But but, you know, you just got to be honest with yourself. It's OK. Just be honest with yourself. Like example, the work of God, Saturday evangelism. You know, don't raise your hand. But how many are looking forward to spending more time on Saturday out on visitation? [3:19] Working at spiritual things like reading your Bible. You know, I mean, for me, reading my Bible is not is not really a chore. But I understand for a lot of people, it is. For a lot of people, they don't. The Bible is not alive. It's not. It's just I do it because I have to. I have no idea what I just read. And I don't understand what I'm reading. But I do it, you know, and I feel bad for you. And I would encourage you to learn how the thing works. And, you know, you'll get a lot more out of it. But, you know, I'm prayer meeting. How about that prayer meeting? We're going to have a prayer meeting. We want to see everybody come to prayer meeting. And, you know, most people are like, I don't know. I'd rather watch the Laker game. I know it sounds carnal. I get it. But we are human. [4:07] And I'm just like you. Doing things out of your physical pleasure. Like, how about, how about, we're going to have a work there at church. We had a work there recently. And I think this brother was there. [4:27] I know Gary showed up. I don't know who I showed up. Did you? I think you were the other day before. Yeah, right. Sure. Mark's always here. That's the reason we have a decent, the grounds look decent pretty much because he's involved. I'm just like you. Right? I get it. I get it. [4:48] Think about it. If it comes down to, if it comes down to talking about spending money on spiritual things or it comes down to talking about spending money on you and where you want to go and what you want, well, we have no problem with that. I mean, I want to talk about my, about taking a vacation in Hawaii. You know, I get it. It costs 5,000 bucks, 6,000 bucks, whatever. [5:11] You know, those, hey, I'm not having a problem with that. No one to talk about that. Right? I want to talk about that next toy that I want. You know, I'm just like you. I get it. [5:22] You know, it's supposed to be spiritual. We're not supposed to want anything. And we're supposed to want to dress in a burlap sack. I get all that. But it's just not reality. It's just not reality. [5:33] So I titled the message. Let's talk about money. But it's, but it's treasures. It's treasures. I want to talk about your treasures. [5:47] What are your treasures? You know, God gives us some, some, some warnings, you know, your treasures may be your, your treasures, maybe your, your jewelry, you know, for ladies, you know, they, they just, I don't understand it, but they like jewelry and it ends up in a box somewhere and half of them don't even wear half of it. It's just in a box somewhere. [6:07] You know, for somebody else is their investment and the gold and whatever else it is. And it just sits somewhere that you don't really do anything with, you know, whatever it is, that's your baseball card collection. I don't know, but these are just things that just kind of really, when you think about it, we're going to look at a verse in a minute, but it's just, it's going to fade away. It's going to fade away. You know, God gave us some warnings in the Bible. He, he said, the love of money is the root of all evil. How many of you believe that? Well, you should, it's in the Bible. Huh? And you know, most, most versions change that. And for a reason, you know, and it's in the Bible for a reason. Bible says in, in first Timothy chapter six, verse nine, they, that will be rich fall into a snare and many hurtful lust. It's in there for good reason. And it's true. If you're not careful and I don't know about you, but Hey, you know what? I mean, I wouldn't mind having more money. [7:15] I told somebody the other day, I, when are we talking about money? I said, I think I can manage a hundred million. Yeah. I'm not talking about being a billionaire, but I think I could manage a hundred million. You say, well, that's kind of crazy. That's really wanting to be rich. I don't know. You know, you know, I get it. You don't want to be rich. Um, but, but compared to that person in Africa, who's swollen belly is, and they're trying to, all they're trying to do is get some water and some food. You're saying you're poor and going to Starbucks and having cable is rich. Oh my darling. Now we've gone to meddling. Huh? [7:51] You get what I'm saying? So it's, it's really, it's really up for interpretation, I guess. I guess, um, the Bible says, you know, when the Bible says in Mark chapter 10, and we're not going to go there, but it says it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of the needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. So, so it's, you know, when you picture that, you think, wow, that it's easier for a camel. Camel's this big and the eye of the needle. I've been told before the eye of the needle is actually a gate over there in Jerusalem. [8:27] That's, you know, the camel really has to get down low to get through. I don't know. I like all the, any illustration is going to be having to do with the camel going through the eye of an needle. Okay. It's going to be hard. It's going to be very, very hard. [8:41] So the Bible says that it's easier for the camel to do that than for the rich man to get it. I can, I can relate. I can, I can, I can grab that. And the Bible says that for good reason. You know, it's been said, uh, I don't know if you've heard this saying before, show me your checkbook. I'll show you where your heart is. Show me a checkbook. I'll show you where your treasure is. Anybody ever heard that? Right. A few people have heard that before. If you have it, you did now. There you go. Next time somebody says, have you heard that? You can say you heard that. This is nothing new. None of this stuff is new, especially if you're a Bible reader. Hopefully you are. And I'll just, just stay with me for a minute if you can. I get it. I'm not a dynamic speaker. I really don't want to put you to sleep and I'll come right down there if I think you're falling asleep on me. Just kidding. I won't do that. [9:39] But really what I'm trying, what I'm going to give you this morning is for your benefit. It's for your benefit. You know, the Bible says, uh, uh, preach the word, be instant, indecision, out of season. It's got a few things you do when you preach. It's reprove, rebuke, and exhort. And I really want to encourage you today. If you end up taking it a different way, that's, uh, that's okay with me too. But I, I am trying to give you something today for your benefit. It's for your benefit. You say I'm poor. I don't really have any treasures. You know, uh, I'm not going to go there, but Mark chapter 12, 41 through 44, you can write that thing down if you want. But, uh, it mentioned about the, uh, the woman with the mites, right? Anybody remember the story? You remember the story audience participation? I know you don't want to do that in church. And, you know, I'm trying to prep you right now because when brother Gip comes, he looks for an answer. He'll be preaching. He'll go, right. And everybody. So the woman with the two mites, you know, the story, right? Jesus said, Jesus said that, uh, these guys all showed up to put their money in the treasury. We're talking about treasure today. And it had to do with money and they were putting their money in the treasury out of their abundance. [11:03] But it said this woman that had, she only had two mites. It said she gave all, she put those two things in there. So whatever your spectrum is, whatever your spectrum is, all I'm trying to do today is encourage you to do just a little bit more. Do just a little bit more. You say, you know, I tied an offer. That's I already do that. Great. Look, this is for your benefit. [11:32] If you can do a little bit more, it's for your benefit, your benefit. You say, I don't have much. Do you have 25 cents? Did you go to Starbucks five times this week? I don't know. You know, I get so tired of hearing about, you know, the Starbucks thing. I don't, I don't do it much. [11:52] Rarely. I make my own coffee, but whatever. If you're that one that goes in the store, I'm not pounding on you. I'm just saying, I'm just saying, you know, if you're sitting there going, you know, I can't, I can't do something more to make a dent or I can't do something more that'll be, um, that'll be worth doing. You're wrong. Jesus looked at the two mites and said, Hey, check this out, guys. Watch this. See that? And they were probably going, see what? [12:23] I don't know. But he said, this woman gave all that she had. Now, you know, there's other verses in there. Talk about all kinds of things about, you know, sell all that you have. We're going to look at a verse. You can turn to Matthew chapter six, if you want. Um, Matthew chapter six, that'd be the jumping off place. Let's go there now. [12:49] Matthew chapter six, it says, let's look, let's pick it up in verse 19, verse, uh, chapter, uh, chapter six and verse 19. It says, lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth for, uh, where moth and, uh, Ross doth corrupt and where thieves break, uh, through and steal. And I get it. I'm talking to, I'm reading, uh, when Jesus was ministering to disciples, talking to the Jews during that day, I get all that, but you can still take a principle. You know, I get over to some of the other stuff in a minute and it'll, it'll be just about the same. It says, it says, um, uh, where am I at? Verse, uh, 19, right? Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt and where thieves break through and steal. Is that not right? [13:36] That's right. That's what happens. If you're not careful, a guy just called me recently and told me, you know, there's this crypto stuff out there. And, and this guy called me and said, yeah, someone hacked into his account and stole and, and got everything. It was 500,000 or whatever it was. [13:51] You know, I'm thinking, doesn't take, these guys are out there looking to do that. So you're, you do really well to figure out how to do something up there. It says where moth and, uh, uh, rust doth not corrupt, uh, is, is where thieves break through and steal it down. It's down here. [14:08] That's what happens down here. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven where neither moth or rust doth corrupt and where thieves do not break through and steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also, you know, and down here, you know, you got, you can put your money in the bank, right? Your treasure in the bank. And, uh, that's FDIC, uh, uh, uh, uh, like insured, right? And then, you know, there's that little phrase in there up to $250,000 or whatever it is. Anything you put over that, you're lost too bad. So sad. You know, I mean, but you know, there is no, there is no limit in heaven. God never said that you can only put up so much here. And when I'm talking about putting your treasures up there, yes, it has to do, it's going to have to do with your money. It's got, it's got, it's got to do with other things, but, but it's probably mainly your money. So how do you put it up there? I'm going to let you figure that out. [15:10] I'm going to let you figure that out. But what I'm trying to encourage you this morning is do that. Why would you need it up there? [15:22] You know, I always thought I always kind of took it for granted. I always said to myself that, well, you know, I'm going to, um, I'm doing this all for the glory of God. I'm just glorifying Jesus when I give and I put money wherever for the work of God. [15:40] But you know what? It's more than that. It's for your benefit. It's for your benefit. Um, I don't know. I don't know. You know, Paul said, I got a verse written down here. Paul says, uh, uh, you can look at it. Let's go over there. Philippians chapter four, Philippians chapter four. I don't remember exactly what it says. [16:07] I know it talks about your account. Philippians chapter four. Philippians chapter four and start in verse 15. [16:20] It says now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me. That's concerning giving and receiving, but you only. [16:33] Okay. So you can, he, uh, commands them for this. For even in Thessalonica, you sent once, once and again under my necessity, not because I desire a gift, but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. [16:48] This is for your benefit. You understand when it talks about treasures in heaven and it talks about, uh, um, uh, sell all that you have and, and give, and give alms and, and right here. [17:02] And Paul says, it's, it's, I will, I'm looking for benefit to your account. You understand this is all going on up there. This is all going on up there. Something's going on up there. [17:14] And he says, notice what he says in Matthew. And I'm probably getting ahead of myself and that's okay. I'll get all, I just get all sideways in it. And that's all right. And, um, look back at Matthew chapter six. [17:29] You know, I never really paid attention to this. Probably until recently. I say that, you know, I'm, I'm, I'm getting a little older now and I don't remember half of what I probably heard. But, um, it's in Matthew chapter six in verse 19. [17:43] Do we start? There you go. It says, uh, verse 20, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. You know, I never really, uh, I said, didn't, I don't remember, but I never really considered that I'm laying this up there for me. [18:02] I'm putting this up there for me. It says, lay up for yourselves. You're doing this for you. [18:12] Yeah. You know, if you have a bank account and I, you know, if you, if you don't, and I'm not knocking you, but up there, you want to be working on it. [18:23] He says, lay up for you. Why? You're going to need it one day. You think he's telling you to lay it up for yourself? [18:36] Because, because when you get up, there's just going to be a good, look, look, look what I have in there. Look at, look at my safety deposit box. Look how big it is. Yay. You're going to use it up there. [18:49] You know, I really believe that God is warning us more than once telling us, I'm trying to tell you, you're going to wish you invested up here. [19:05] I'm telling you, he says, lay up for yourself. It's for you. It isn't for me. God said, it's not for me. This is for you. Don't you have to get this. [19:15] You're going to need this one day. I don't do things by accident. I'm telling you this for a reason. So I'm trying to just encourage you today to, right now, take a baby step if you need to. [19:34] Just put a little bit more up there. Figure it out. How are you going to put a little bit more up there? Look at Luke chapter 12. Luke chapter 12. [19:47] And, you know, he says where your heart is. You know, it's a rule here. It's a rule is where your heart is. Your treasure will be. He says he says he tells him right. He says, put your treasure up here. [19:57] He says for where your treasure is. That's where your heart will be. So the way the verse reads is you can get your heart figured out in the right place by putting your treasure there. [20:08] You say, well, I don't want to do that. I get it. Your heart's not there, but that's OK. Put it there and it'll get there. That's what he says. He says, lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. [20:20] He says for where your treasure is. There will your heart be also. So go ahead. And if you don't like it, you don't want to force yourself to do it and it'll get there. [20:31] It'll get there. Luke chapter 12. Luke chapter 12. Luke chapter 12. In verse 33 and 34. [20:48] It says for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. I got away from it, didn't I? Oh, what? Verse 33. Sorry. Sell that you have and give alms. Provide yourselves bags which wax not old. [21:00] A treasure in the heavens that faileth not. Where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. He says in this passage, it says sell that you have and give alms. [21:14] OK, so you're given and you're selling. And, you know, I get it. You don't like that one. You know, I don't want to sell everything. I'm going to sell everything I got and give everything away. OK, let's you say, well, that's that's, you know, that's Jesus and the Jews. [21:27] OK, so we go over to Book of Acts where they where they had all in the transition to the church. They had all things common. They gave everything. Oh, no, we don't like that one either. Well, tell me what you do like. [21:39] Is there one you like? All right. Well, I guess sometimes we just need to fix our liker. I don't like that. We'll fix your liker. It's OK. You know, if you put it there, your heart will follow. [21:54] That's what he said anyway. I take it. He's right. I'm trying to, you know, I'm trying to get you to think about heaven and your account up there. I understand we live down here and we don't think about that a lot because we live in the nasty now and now. [22:10] And we're worried about our retirement and how we're going to live in the future. And if the Lord doesn't tarry, I get all that. And that's all good. You know, you got to be a good steward. [22:21] That's OK. That's all good stuff. There's passages for that. But it's what you're going to convert here to treasure there. [22:34] You know, and down here, you know, people do all kinds of stuff. There's CDs, whatever they do. Save the care, whatever. And it builds interest. I got to personally think that his interest is going to be far better than anybody's interest down here. [22:51] And I've heard about some interest rates. I've heard about some stuff down here where stuff just multiplies. You know, there's the small ones and there's the bigger stuff. And I got to think that nothing's going to compare to his stuff. [23:05] Nothing's going to compare to his stuff. But it says, lay up for yourselves. It is for you. It's for you. [23:15] You know, I believe heaven is a wonderful place and I can't wait to go there. Because I hear nothing good about heaven. [23:27] I mean, I hear nothing but good about heaven. Right? I hear nothing but good about heaven. So I got to assume that if I hear nothing but good about heaven and everything's good there, when he tells me to lay my treasures up there, for me, it's good. [23:44] Right? So God is telling us, he's telling you, lay up your treasures for yourself in heaven. That's got to be good. [23:55] So I want to encourage you today to go ahead and do a little bit more of that. Now, Pastor Dave, I remember when Pastor Dave used to tell us that it's going to be your economy up in heaven. [24:07] I don't know all about that. And I know we live in this free mentality heaven idea. And I know, you know, you get that verse that says, Jesus gives us freely all things. [24:21] And, you know, drink of the water of life freely. Right? And there are those free things. You know, my salvation is a free gift. And we get that mindset that, oh, well, heaven, everything must be free. [24:35] I don't recall reading that somewhere. But if you find a reference that tells you that, I'd like to know. But it wouldn't surprise me that there's stuff that isn't free. [24:49] And when you're going to lay up for yourself treasure in heaven, it's going to have to last a long time. And I try not to think like I do down here because this is no comparison. [25:06] You know, I know the Bible talks about, you know, Brother Pastor Walski talked recently about robbing God. Right? Robbing God. Had to do a tithe and offerings. And I think there's probably, there's probably a difference between what you owe God and what you put in your account for yourself. [25:28] Huh? I mean, you got to read all the Bible and try to understand it. Now, I think God is really good. And I think he's so much a giver that, you know, you've heard people say that when they have, when they're, when the kids are growing up, they go, I charge my kids rent, but I put it to the side for them. [25:45] And I give it, I give it back to them when they move out. You ever heard somebody say that? All the time. I'm like, you know, you're going to pay rent. You're paying the bills. That's it. You get nothing back. [25:56] But not most people don't think like that. Most people, they, they, that's the way they do. They do it. And I got to think, I got to think that God, as good as he is, he probably takes all that. [26:08] He don't need it. Right? He don't need your money. But he probably takes all that and puts it to your account. He probably go ahead and puts it to your account. So if you never gave anything past your tithe and offering, he, he still probably say, what you got there, he gave. [26:24] You did this. You didn't rob me. And I'm taking care of it. But there's that stuff that's the over and beyond. That's that laying up your, your treasure for you. [26:38] Right? The tithe and offerings, that's not, that's not your treasure. And that's really not for you. That's for him. And that's what you kind of owe him. And that's okay. God's been real good to you. Right? I mean, that's the way it is. [26:49] If you don't like that, I am sorry that you don't like that part of Christianity. I'm very sorry. [27:01] But you go ahead and tell me how God wants to take care of the work of God. Because the church is supposed to be existing. [27:12] So you tell me how it's supposed to exist. I'll be available after the service. I'd love to hear it. But like Pastor Walski mentioned, that's just, you know, it's, it's, it's, it's, uh, Paul says, it's superfluous for me to write this to you about, about ministering and giving. [27:29] Because you already know what to do. All right. So I believe there's that stuff. And we're not talking about that stuff. Pastor Walski covered that. Made you all mad. I get it. So I'm not talking about that. [27:39] I'm talking about, I'm trying to get you to see this morning that you need to lay up in heaven some stuff for you. That's what God said. [27:51] And that means you're going to use it someday. So try to understand that you need something up there. It's like this. It's like, it's like in Revelation chapter three, uh, God talks about this again. [28:06] Revelation chapter three, the last message to the last church. And God tells him, uh, I counsel thee. He says, you don't know. He says, you say you're rich, right? We all say that. We all say we're rich. [28:17] We are rich, especially in America, man. This is a message you can preach in America. We're definitely rich in America. Um, if you say you're poor and you own a car, you're probably actually rich. I mean, think about it. [28:27] I'm sorry. I'm sorry. But, uh, you know, um, but he says, he says, you say you're rich, but what you don't know is you're poor. Oh, okay. [28:39] So I'm, I'm poor. And some people go, well, I know I'm poor. No, no, no, no. That's not what he's saying. Because then he goes on to say, um, he counsels them by of me gold. [28:49] Gold that you may be rich. And some people might say is, I don't know how to do that right here, but I'd love to be rich down here. Buy some of that gold and be rich down here. But then he says, buy of me white raiment that you may be clothed. [29:04] Well, last I checked, not a lot of people just walking around in white raiment down here. But he says, buy of me white raiment that you may be clothed and that the shame of your nakedness doth not appear. [29:18] That's not down here. So if that's not down here, we can take it that the gold isn't down here either. But he encourages the last church and says, buy of me gold that thou mayest be rich and tells you nothing else. [29:31] Right. And he says in Matthew, he says, lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven where moth, moth doesn't corrupt. People don't come and steal it. [29:43] And he tells you nothing else. So God is doing this several times, telling you that this is for you. [29:55] Buy of me gold that you may be rich. You're not doing this for me. God, they're going, you ain't doing this for me. You're doing this for you. [30:06] I get it. I'm not going to go out of my way and tell you all about it. But trust me on this one. You want to hear what I'm saying. Man, doesn't he say he that hath ears to hear, let him hear. [30:17] Right. So, you know, he's telling you this and you need to get it. It's kind of like it's kind of like when he tells you about buying white raiment. That the shame of your nakedness does not appear. [30:32] How many want to be naked when you're up there in heaven walking around? You say, you say, man, I'm really looking forward to the day we get back to the garden and be naked. [30:43] Let me tell you something. Those days are over. That was a one time deal for a one time event in one time of life. And nakedness will not be OK any other time. [30:54] It's not going to be. I'm sorry. We're not going back to the garden. It's not going to be OK to be naked again. Because God says in Revelation, you want to be clothed. You don't want the shame of your nakedness to appear up here. [31:07] It ain't even good up there. So when he says that you ought to be trying to buy. I'm trying to encourage you today. Figure it out how you're going to lay your treasures up there. [31:18] What I do personally. And, you know, you've heard other people do it. But I try to spend my money a little bit more in God's things. [31:30] Whatever it is. You know, me personally, there was a good and evil. This guy, these people are putting out this good and evil book. It's a comic book of the Bible. And they put it out in Arab countries, Muslim countries, all over the world. [31:43] And they talk about, you know, people getting saved. And, you know, people getting the Bible. And, you know, I'm like, you know, Pastor Dave, you should say, find out what God's doing and get in on it. [31:55] And I'm going to just echo that and say, whatever he's not doing, don't get in on that. And if you have any questions, you ought to talk to somebody that's a little bit spiritual, I can probably help you. Because if you're giving it to Janice Carrick Copeland. [32:09] What's her name? Whatever her name is. And there's Gene Scott's out there and these crazy people online and stuff. Don't do that. Okay. You better just throw it in the plate and let's take care of it. [32:21] So, it's for your benefit. Buy of God gold and buy of God white raiment. [32:33] Okay. Do something a little bit more. Whatever you're doing, great. But I'm trying to encourage you today that when you leave here, you do just a little bit more. [32:48] Because this is for you. It isn't for me. It isn't for Pastor Walski. It isn't for the church. It's for you. Might not be a bad idea to find a missionary to support. [32:59] But, you know, buy tracks. Get them out. Pay for somebody else's tracks. I don't know what to tell you. But figure out how you're going to spend it investing in heaven where the moth doesn't corrupt and the thieves can't steal it. [33:19] Huh? I mean, down here, when we go, when we go, when we go, everything that's left behind, I think about it. You know, I own a house. I own a car. [33:30] You know, I have this and I have that. And I think, man, when I die, I'm not getting any of that. That's all staying here. The only thing I'm going to get in my account up there is what's up there. [33:45] So you would do well to pay attention to your future economy in heaven. Because you're laying up for yourself treasures in heaven. [33:56] If there was ever a time to be selfish, now is the time to do it. Huh? Be selfish. Be selfish. Pack it away up there. [34:10] Store it away up there. Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. [34:23] Now, if you're here today and, you know, this isn't a salvation message. And, you know, I personally, you know, there's a lot of people that just evangelize on Sunday morning. And really, the church is for the saved. [34:35] If you're here this morning and you're lost or you're here this morning and you've never been saved, you don't know what that is. You don't understand being born again. Then I encourage you to find somebody after and find out. [34:47] You want to go to heaven when you die. The last thing I would like to see in this church is somebody show up here and go through this whole thing and never get saved. Right? [34:58] Salvation is the main thing. You're wasting your time trying to spend your money on. You don't have an account. If you don't have an account in heaven, if you're lost until you get saved. [35:08] The Bible talks about it's Bible calls it being born again. The first birth is no good. Easy way to understand it is when you were born, you were born in sin. Everybody understands that. I think the first birth is no good. [35:19] You need a second one. That's that's the problem. The problem is a birth issue. The problem isn't a doing good or doing bad issue. So if you're here this morning and you're not familiar with what I'm talking about. [35:32] For yourself, find out before you leave today. For you that are here in Christians, you guys that are Christians. I just want to encourage you today to do just a little bit more. [35:46] You know, it's OK to do a lot more. But if it takes just doing a little bit more. Father, lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. [35:57] You're going to wish you did. Let's pray. Father, it is good to be saved this morning. [36:10] And I don't know what all this money is about up there. All this treasure stuff and gold. I do know you told her this for us. [36:22] And I know about the judgment seed and and the stuff being the what sort it is having to do with the gold and silver and wood, hay, stubble. And that stuff's all going to we're going to have that when we're when we're done with the judgment. [36:35] What are we going to do with all of it? It seems like over and over again, you you you've told us about laying up treasures and things to our account and giving. [36:46] And you don't seem to give us a whole lot more information, but it's it's enough. That I hope would encourage your people to. [36:57] As we get closer to the end for us. To be trying to build up the account up in glory. [37:07] Thank you for thy word. Please bless thy people today. In Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
