As we considered last week, Jesus' arrival in Jersualem on the first Palm Sunday didn't meet many people's assumptions about the Messiah, resulting in an "Unexpected Arrival." As Pastor Kent focuses in on Easter Sunday this week, we'll be looking at Luke 24:1-12 and exploring the resurrection of Jesus as an "Unexpected Departure."

As is often the case, the gospel accounts of various events can differ slightly, based on the different backgrounds and observations of the writers.
