[0:00] Church For You is based in Adelaide's expanding northern suburbs.! [0:12] As an independent Bible-believing Baptist church,! we have been in Elizabeth since 1999. The population increases are anticipated for the area. [0:38] In the Playford North Urban Regeneration project alone, it is expected that the population of that area will increase from 13,000 residents to 30,000 over a span of just 15 years. [1:00] As a church, we want to have a vision and the action that is ready and able to meet the opportunities that lie ahead. [1:14] The increasing population of the area means more precious souls who can be reached with the Gospel, the good news that Jesus is the most important part to save sinners and turn lives around. [1:34] Our base in Elizabeth Park places us strategically in a community of people who are living in the world and the world is the most important part of the world. [1:45] We are now in the world of the world and the world of the world. We are now in the world of the world and the world of the world of the world. As a church, we commenced our meetings in a school. [2:10] My wife and I purchased a rundown, vandalised building which has since been transformed into a useful meeting place. At first it seemed like an impossible vision but the Lord has blessed us through these steps of faith that we have taken. [2:31] Over time we have seen the building transformed as well as the lives who have been touched by the Saviour. [2:44] the Lord has blessed us through these steps. The time has come now for a bold new step. We are trusting the Lord to take us forward as a church in a new premises that we expect to use from February 2009. [3:18] As believers we have a vision to impact our community as we reach out across the city of Playford as well as the surrounding areas that comprise the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. [3:50] Please join us in prayer and faith that God will use this building for His glory and His honour. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise Be thankful unto Him and bless His name For the Lord is good His mercy is everlasting and His truth endureth to all generations. [4:14] As we travel across this city, this community we see the great need, the great opportunity and the great strategic place we are at just now. [4:34] We know that the Lord is the answer the Gospel is the answer for our community. Jesus Christ is still in the business of saving souls, of winning men and women. [4:52] There are some areas of potential ministry that we have yet to touch on. For example, there's potential ministries to our military men and women and their families. [5:05] A new army battalion at Edinburgh Defence Base will mean an influx of 1,100 soldiers by 2010. Will our church have the vision to be able to meet these opportunities to minister to new families who are coming into the region? [5:24] As a church, we have a range of current ministries underway in hospitals and nursing homes. We have a ministry also in producing encouraging DVD materials and our own in-house library. [5:46] We have a church website also that helps to circulate resources and studies across the world wide web. [6:02] To help people who lack transport and also to support children's outreach, we provide a church bus service, which has proved a blessing to many people across the neighbourhood. [6:16] Throughout our church history, we've always had an active outreach to young people and to their families with a Sunday school outreach as well as a number of different young people's ministries. [6:29] As a fellowship, we love to gather and to worship our Lord Jesus together. We also want to be active to invite others to trust Christ and to become a part of God's family. [6:40] In all the streets around us, it's a mission field of homes without Christ. Our heart is to obey the Master's call to go and to reach this community with the life-changing message of hope and new life that only Christ can bring. [6:59] Our new building is just another vehicle to provide the means of communicating this vital message. [7:19] This purpose-built premises provides a space for the community and the community. This purpose-built premises provides a spacious meeting hall. [7:39] Our hope is that it will be a place that many will come to trust Christ and want to commit to coming and fellowshipping and growing in the faith. As the building nears completion, we look forward in faith to this hall being filled with people with a hunger for the truth and life that Christ can bring. [8:00] It's truly exciting to see this vision unfolding to one day becoming a useful meeting venue that can cater for church meetings and help us to shine as a beacon of hope to the community around us. [8:25] We truly want to give God all the glory and praise and thanks for what he has achieved and what he has done through this ministry. [8:48] We thank the Lord too for the faithful people who have been part of this work and have supported and encouraged us in this work of faith. [9:03] The future is bright and we look forward in faith and anticipation. [9:22] The growing population and the new housing developments all around mean a whole new opportunity to extend a warm invitation to new families who are joining the community. [9:38] Join me on this mission. Join me as we walk together in faith and trust the Lord to guide us and lead us into the future. [10:03] With faith and hope our vision can become a reality.
