[5:04] Only eight were saved. There's a steady decline in the numbers of people who profess to follow God. Who profess to be Christians. This is what one statistical, one survey, market research survey found by a man called Barna in 2009.

[5:37] So that's the basic Bible teachings, the basic Bible truths. And even of those who claim to be Christians, many of them do not believe the most fundamental, basic Bible teachings.

[5:50] It's like there's an ignorance that prevails. And sadly, little ones don't even get the basics in Sunday school anymore. Parents can't be bothered that they even get the very basics.

[6:04] And so there's a complete ignorance out there. And the Bible foretells of a counterfeit church. A counterfeit church. Of such an end-time apostasy and this rise of an end-times counterfeit church.

[11:11] There's all these global things. You just tune into your radio and you can hear. Global. Global. Global. This global village. A global framework. Global dominion is taking control.

[11:22] And it will ultimately lead to global tyranny. So that we will be controlled by this global force. And then in the religious side of things.

[11:33] There's this global move to a worship of Mother Earth. As if Mother Earth has created us. Gaia. You know. The Mother Earth is worshipped.

[27:02] He that is spiritual. Judges. All. Things. You know. Some people love to. Take out of context. The scripture that says. Judge not. But.

[27:14] He that is spiritual. Judges. All. Things. 1 Corinthians 2. 15. Are you spiritual? You should judge things. In other words. Make sound. Wise.

[27:26] Discretionary. Discernment. Are you spiritual? Do you care enough? Do you love people enough? To tell them the truth? Sometimes people can get offended.

[27:37] At the truth. We don't need to hurt people. When we tell them the truth. We tell them the truth. Because the truth. Is the truth. And the truth matters. And if we'll.

[28:55] Lest any of you be hardened through. Hardened. Through the deceitfulness of sin. As it was in the days of Noah. As it was in the days of Lot. We need truth now. More than ever.

[29:06] And even within. The professing churches. We're seeing this. Trend for diluted truth. Diluted truth. It's where truth is subtly mixed with dangerous error.

[29:19] You know. Like it's been said. Rat poison is 99% quite good. For rats. It's just the 1%. That's the problem. And so it is with the truth. Subtly mixed with dangerous error.

[29:30] And so preachers seem biased at smooth talk. Tolerance. And fairy floss. Tickling ears. It's an age of itching ears. Some people may want to imitate the secular world.

[29:42] And preachers seem more and more obsessed with the size of their church. Rather than the substance of their church. And so we see. As our Lord says through Paul.

[29:53] They will not endure sound teaching. They'll turn away their ears from the truth. Having itching ears. They won't endure sound doctrine. They shall turn away their ears from the truth.

[30:06] And shall be turned unto fables. You know what's a lot of the TV preachers messages these days. Supposed trips to heaven. Supposed fantastic miracles that are totally unscriptural.

[30:20] And all this showy, glossy, glitzy sham. Fables. The church is reinventing itself today. And it's lost all semblance of what it is meant to be.

[30:33] By God's design. The pillar and ground of the truth. God has purposed that his church. Be a church that's purified. Holy. Glorious. Without spot.

[30:44] Or wrinkle. Or any such thing. As it was in the days of Noah. And of Lot. There's a scarcity of those who hold fast. That which is godly. And soundly biblical.

[30:56] Eight people in Noah's day. How many in Lot's time? Just a handful. From a city. Of thousands. A scarcity of those who hold fast.

[31:07] That which is truth. And there's this increasing New Age philosophies. And interfaith. Dialogue and cooperation. This global transformation. Everything is getting sacrificed on the altar.

[31:32] But in simple terms. The counterfeit church. Is subtly being built. It's by stealth. The enemy is forging an alliance with the dark kingdom.

[32:06] We've lost our discernment. And we've lost our resistance. Friends it's a struggle. It's a struggle going on. A struggle between biblical and cultural Christianity.

[32:17] Biblical Christianity and cultural Christianity. There are loggerheads. There's a struggle. Yet many heal to this pressure of being so called generationally relevant. That's one of the new hip words.

[32:30] The buzz words. The cool words. To be generationally relevant. Such that we dismiss biblical absolutes. We're not biblically relevant.

[32:40] We're culturally relevant. And really it's treason. It's treason. It's like you join the enemy's camp. Your allegiance is to the other king.

[32:51] To his marketing campaign. As he massages the truth. And he manipulates minds. This rising evil. It's all his deliberate plan. His intent. His strategy.

[33:03] To whiten. To weaken. To undermine. To worldify the church. To corrupt it. And its message. To conform it. Friends. If this message is corrupted and weakened.

[33:15] We just as well shut the doors. What's the point? This message must be declared without compromise. Amen. Romans 12. 1 and 2. It says. I beseech you therefore brethren.

[33:27] By the mercies of God. That you present your bodies. A living sacrifice. Holy. Acceptable unto God. Which is. Your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world.

[35:35] It gets you. Cancer. Kills. You don't toy with that. Neither should we toy with the world. We shouldn't. Excuse it.

[35:46] But rather deal with it. Ask God to deal with it. In our lives. Each one. One by one. If we don't. It's bye bye church. We just as well.

[35:57] Close the doors. And there's this woeful loss of discernment. Amongst God's people. Where they're just trying to excuse. That which is. Questionable. Rather steer away.

[36:08] Steer clear of it. Watered down preaching prevails. People won't tell us the truth anymore. There's a loss of discernment. Such that the church has become passive. Pampered.

[36:20] Powers. And preachers are politically correct. It leads to liberalism. It leads to. A giving ground to the enemy. And the devil loves it.

[36:32] He wants us to all just cave in. He's an expert at behaviour modification. That's what's going on. Behaviour modification. When you turn on the TV set.

[36:44] It's behaviour modification. You read between the lines of what they're telling you. It's a conditioning of the masses. To an anti-Christian bias. And a bias.

[36:55] To accept untruths. A compromising mixture. It's a compromising mixture. That's taken over. A worldly conformity. A coldness. A coldness.

[37:06] Sets in. It might have all the glitz and glamour. And the hoo-ha. But really. When you get beneath the surface. There's a coldness there spiritually. It's coldness. And we.

[37:17] The faithful. The faithful. Must rather. Withstand this. Hold fast. Bible. Teachings. Hold fast. The truth. And steer away from the false. And the doubtful.

[37:27] And not be afraid. To offend people. Not that this is our aim. But we'd rather. Speak the truth.

[37:37] And offend God. Than compromise. Bible truth. Think of the Lord Jesus. Who did he have. The strongest words with.

[37:48] It was the religious establishment. Of the time. And he pulled no punches. When he came to the. Questionable things. Of his day. And exposing their lies.

[37:59] And falsehoods. Yet he always extended grace. Didn't he? The Lord Jesus. He always extended grace. And forgiveness. To those who would seek it. Friends. We need this kind of. Rock solid Christianity.

[38:10] A manly. Muscular Christianity. And that's not to discount. For the women folk here. It's a womanly. Christianity too. To be a true woman. A true man.

[38:20] Who knows. God's grace. And forgiveness. And his wonderful. Pardon. When we think back to. History. We see. Who are the ones. Who we look back to.

[38:32] As the heroes of the faith. Those that stood firm. No matter what. That took them to their deaths. If need be. We see back. In the English speaking world.

[38:44] John Wycliffe. First. Made the English Bible. Available around 1390. And a virtual war. On biblical Christianity. Began.

[38:55] Because the devil. Didn't want people. To have God's words. In their native tongue. And in the years ahead. Thousands of faithful. Martyrs. Were tortured. And killed.

[39:06] By Europe's corrupt. Catholic hierarchy. For owning the new Bible. And spreading God's word. As it became translated. Into Spanish. Into German. Into the languages of the continent.

[39:18] And the people got the word of God. The light came in. To their souls. And their anchor. Our foundation. Must be this truth. Take it. And read it. Don't let it sit on the shelf.

[39:29] Gathering dust. Take it to your heart. And read it. With your heart open to God. And God's word. Will bring light to your soul. Amen. It's an anchor. It's a foundation.

[39:40] As you trust him. Who has given it to you. There's a biblical transformation. From biblical truth. We will not. Bow down. We will not unite with the world.

[39:50] We will rather decide. As Nehemiah did. As he. Rebuilt the wall of protection. Around the city. So too.

[40:01] We must rebuild. Rebuild those walls of separation. And protection. Around our family. The walls of biblical truth. And the foundation. Of biblical teaching.

[40:13] Our Lord refused to compromise. With the truth. As it was in the days of Noah. As it was in the days of Lot. We likewise have called unto God. To come unto him. To not conform.

[40:25] Those who conform. Will face God's judgment. But rather to be non-conformers. Look at those through history. That were laughed at.

[40:35] And scorned. The established church. Of the day. Which was largely in darkness. Called them non-conformists. But who were they conforming to?

[40:47] They were conforming to God. And history. And they were separated people. Friends. God has put a difference. Between the holy. And the unholy. And he's called us to this truth.

[40:57] That there's only two kingdoms. And you've got to decide. Who do you belong to? Who is your king? Yeah. Now some like to still sit. On the throne of their hearts.

[41:08] Yeah. And be the boss. The master of their own destiny. And think that they're somehow. The king of their life. I did it. My way. Yeah. How much better to know.

[41:21] That on the throne of your heart. Is the king of kings. And the lord of lords. Who will reign. Forever. And forever. And he can reign in your heart. He can rule in your heart.

[41:32] He can. Direct your steps. And give you. His glorious peace. And hope. And eternal life. And there's only two kingdoms people tonight.

[41:43] One day the rain will fall. As it were. The fire and brimstone. Ranged from heaven on Sodom. And it says it destroyed them all. One day judgment will fall. As it did in the days of Sodom.

[41:56] And Gomorrah. One day judgment will fall. Judgment will come. When Jesus is revealed. Are you ready? Yeah. Will you meet him as your judge? Or as your king?
