[0:00] A whatever-phobe. This is what's going on, isn't it? It's a war, people. It's a war. What's happening in South Africa is more of a human thing that's going on. [0:16] ! What lies ahead? [0:31] What does the future hold? Down the track, I'll tell you what's going to come. The wrath is going to come. God is not pleased. [0:43] He is angry. We're at the wicked every day. And it tells us that for we, we wait for his son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which hath delivered us from the wrath to come. [0:56] We're going to be delivered from the wrath to come. Some will face the ultimate prison house of hell. Satan's bondage is hard. He will ensnare. He'll bind and enslave. [1:08] His methods are many. The fowler, the bird catcher. He will bring control, condemnation, confusion. And people won't even know it's happening because he'll be dressed like an angel of light. [1:21] Satan himself, there's a mass enslavement, a worldwide tyranny, a thick darkness envelopes our planet. And many are living in the snare of the fowler. [1:34] They're living in this trap of the devil. They're trapped, enslaved. And ultimately this enslavement will be the hallmark of the one who is yet to come, who will enforce a mark and a worldwide evil worship. [1:50] It tells us here in Revelation 13 that he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand and in their foreheads, and that no man might buy or sell, save he that has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name. [2:11] Ultimately the embodiment of Satan will be the beast yet to come and the wrath to come. It's just around the corner. So can't we get serious now? [2:21] We've got deliverance, past, present and future. You cannot serve two masters. Who is your master? Are you wearing that yoke? [2:32] There might be here, people here. You actually are still here. You're not saved yet. You're in the trap. You're snared. You're a sitting duck. [2:44] You're a bird, a sitting duck, in the snare. You're trapped. You don't even know it. People who don't know the Lord Jesus are in a trap. They're trapped. They don't even know it. The devil's got them tricked and fooled and trapped. [2:59] And friends, today we're facing these coming days of crisis. We're facing that wrath to come. The wrath of God will be poured out. [3:10] For the meantime, many are held prisoner, captive in their minds, captive in their philosophies, not even aware of it, with false beliefs, with false religion, with humanism, even false salvation. [3:25] Oh, I'm holding on to the road. I'm holding on to the road. I'm hoping I'm going to make it. That's not salvation. Our salvation is purchased by the precious blood of Christ. [3:37] And it's saved by grace, saved, present tense, saved by the master, by his grace, his gift. [3:48] In the meantime, we face days of crisis. We need a deliverer. We need a deliverer. He is able to deliver thee. So, people here today, are we living as free men, rescued, delivered? [4:02] Do we know that we are saved, past, present and future, as God's own people? Let us live in that reality that the snare is broken. Don't stay in the snare. If there's things holding you back as a Christian, if there's things that you feel like you're still trapped in some situation, situation, some sin, some circumstance, you're held back from living your life for Christ, you're holding back, giving your all to him, laying your all on the altar, you cannot serve two masters. [4:40] As God's own people, let's realise that reality, the snare is broken. We need not walk in defeat and despair. The question is, do you believe God? [4:52] Daniel believed God and he was saved. Do you trust in his promises? It says that we are saved. It says that our soul is escaped as a bird. [5:05] It says that he is able to deliver thee. So let's take this message to those held captive. You see, 2 Timothy 2, the servant of the Lord must not strive, but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves. [5:27] If peradventure, God will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth, and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil who are taken captive by him at his will. [5:41] People are ensnared. Our hearts should cry out for those who know not the Saviour. Our hearts should be burdened with this burning message to tell others how they can be saved, rescued, delivered. [5:59] We have the message they need to hear. And we, as a people, are to be a soul-saving station, a rescue station. We represent a deliverer who will save to the uttermost. [6:12] Friends, just to recap here that it says our soul is escaped as a bird, out of the snare of the fowler. The snare is broken and we are escaped. [6:24] Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. Truly, we can be set free. and brothers, sisters, this glorious liberty that we have has been purchased by his precious blood. [6:38] It's all by his love and grace. And this salvation that we have is rock-solid, guaranteed, that we can be as free as a bird, knowing that he saved us past, present, and future. [6:52] Our deliverer is able to deliver thee. Let's pray. Lord, we thank you for this time of fellowship and of encouragement today. [7:03] Lord, help us to realise that truth that you are able to deliver and to confess that you are able in our situation. [7:13] We pray if there's any present here, they're still in the trap. Lord, you can set them free if they will only trust in you. If they will simply trust that at the cross you laid down your life, you shed your precious blood as the perfect sacrifice in our very place, paying the penalty for our very sin. [7:38] And as we put our trust and hearts desire in you, you will save those who will call on your name. And Lord, whosoever will. [7:51] We pray for believers here. Lord, help us to not hold back. Help us not to, help us Lord to break free from that which confines us and limits our faith, that which constrains us from doing your will. [8:10] Lord, if there's any things that are trapping us as a Christian, that we'll renounce it, will confess it and that you will take it from us. Lord, help us to be as believers strong and flourishing and active and help us Lord to be messengers of that message of liberty to others. [8:32] So when others are bound in sin and corruption and false religion, that we will be able to share that glad news to them. In Jesus name. [8:43] Amen.
