One thing that we can be sure of in life is that death comes to all people. Anybody, no matter who, is subject to death of the physical body. This is why it is necessary to think about what happens after death - although there is objection to the eternality of hell, as believers we must not be deceived because hell is real! Those who do not believe will suffer under the justice of God.

The fire of hell is everlasting, yet the soul is indestructible, which shows us the extent of suffering and separation from God experienced in hell. However, the message of hell shouldn’t put fear in you, yet should encourage you that our God is a good God, a just God, and a loving God. This is the blessedness of the understanding of hell. It should confirm to you the full enormity of what Christ did by paying the price, and dying on the cross for our sins.
