Thank you for choosing to listen to another word-filled message by David Entry. Preaching is the means by which God manifests His word and nourishes our spirits. May the life of God enter into you and you as you listen to this message. Be blessed. [0:18] To live is Christ. To die is gain. Christ becomes my living. All I live. The reason why I am alive is so just for Christ to express Himself through me. [0:32] For me to live. So Paul says that I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live. Yet not I. Galatians chapter 2 verse 20. I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live. [0:43] And yet not I. And the life that I live now. You see me now. It's not me. Don't make a mistake. You are seeing me. It's not me. Christ is living in me. That's that. That's Christianity. Say, that's Christianity. [0:55] That's Christianity. So he said, I have been crucified with Christ. Now, somebody will say, ah, but you have been crucified. But I can see you. How can you say you have been crucified? Oh, yeah, you can see me. [1:07] He said, I have been crucified with Christ. Then he says that, I prefer the King James. I prefer the King James. I want to show you something quickly. I have been crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live. But how did you say you have been crucified and you are still alive? [1:20] So he said, I have been crucified with Christ. And he said, yeah, I know you see me. Yeah. Though I live. Nevertheless, I live. He said, yet not I. Don't make a mistake. Not I. But who? [1:32] But Christ lives in me. And so, and then he went on to say, and the life which I now live in the body, in the flesh, in the physical, I live by faith of God's son. So, as I'm living, I live by faith of God's son. [1:48] Because he lives in me. It's no longer I. When you are born again, it's no longer I. Say, it's no longer I. It's no longer I. [1:58] Once you are born again, it's no longer you. By who? If you are not born again, that's okay. You can continue to live your life. You can continue to live your life. [2:10] But, if you are born again, it's no longer you. By Christ. Say, it's no longer I. No longer I. By Christ. By Christ. Identity in Christ stems out of the Christ who is living in me. [2:22] And what I have become. But after I have become what I have become, what next? I, look, I like the scripture. It's so good. It's so cool. [2:33] In 2 Corinthians 5, verse 14. 2 Corinthians 5, verse 14. 2 Corinthians 5, verse 14. [2:44] It says that, For the love of Christ constraints us because we judge us. That if one died for all, then all died. And he died for all. [2:57] That those who live should live no longer for themselves. But for him who died for them and rose again. Okay. So, verse 14 says that, For the love of Christ compels us. [3:10] Now, first of all, I would want, I would want, I would want you to appreciate the fact that this whole living for Christ that did not start with us. I will explain what I mean. This whole issue of living for Christ started with Christ. [3:24] How did it start? He died for us first. Okay. Okay. He loved us so much and he gave himself for us. So, that is what becomes our stepping, springboard. [3:38] Okay. Stepping stone is a springboard for the platform for this whole love thing we do in Christ. Now, in Romans chapter 5 verse 8, he says that God commended his love for us this way. [3:58] Did you see Romans chapter 5 verse 8? It said God demonstrated, he manifested his love towards us this way. That whilst we were yet sinners, he died. [4:11] Watch, this is a serious thing. When he was the suffering party, he chose to die for us. Not that when we stopped sinning. When he, when he was the suffering party, he chose to die for us. [4:28] Still, when he was, he was the one suffering. We were sinning against him. Whilst we were yet sinners, he, he didn't say when we stopped sinning. Whilst we were yet sinners, he died for us. [4:38] Now, this is the platform for which, the platform that motivates our love for you. When you discover who you are, who you are in Christ, it makes you want to go all out. You go, when you, when you deserved death, he died for you. [4:55] When you deserved death, he gave you his life. He exchanged his life. Took our miserable lives. And gave us, he took my miserable life, and gave, and gave me, his colorful and beautiful and holy life. [5:12] Gave me another chance to live. So, this becomes the platform for, our Christian work. So that it's not any, it's not too much, because, first, second Corinthians chapter five, verse 15 says that, therefore we judge this that, since one died for all, then those of us who live, we live for him. [5:32] It says that, and he died for all, that those who live, should no longer live, for themselves. Because it's not you. We, we must never be tired of hearing this thing, or talking about this thing. [5:43] That's the Christian message. Praise God. And first, first John chapter four, verse 19. I like that so much. First John chapter four, verse 19. First John chapter four, verse 19 says that, can we read it together, please? [5:58] Let's read it. Read it again. One more time. For the last time, please. [6:14] Say, I love God. Say, I love Jesus. Why do you love Jesus? We love him, because he first loved us. [6:25] Why do we love him? Is it not because he's going to deliver us from demons? Is it not because of the blessings he's going to give to our lives? [6:37] Is it not because of the breakthrough you're about to get in life? Is it not because of the beautiful opportunity of serving him? Is it not because of that? So why do we love him? [6:51] So, what we love God for is not because of what we get. We love God. Watch this. This is serious. We love God because he, see, if you love God for something else, that love is not authentic. [7:09] Because, because, because it will, it will not last. Love for God, based on any other thing, anything else, apart from his love for us. [7:21] Love for God, triggered, motivated, activated, by any other thing, apart from his love for us, will not last. So, if, you want to love God better, you always have to cast your eyes, to the cross. [7:36] Look at what he has done for you. Look, Bible said, he who is forgiving much, loves much. But he who is forgiving little can't be bothered. [7:49] Jesus told the story about, Jesus went to a house, certain woman is a prostitute. She came, and she broke, and like a bastard boss, or actually she used her tears and her hair. [8:01] Normally, when a visitor comes to your house those days, you have to get some water. That's why Jesus decided to wash the feet of his, wash their feet, and then use a towel. Jesus even used a towel. But this woman, you know what a woman's hair means to her? [8:15] That's why in certain traditions and cultures, they have to actually cover the hair. So, you don't see a woman's hair. Because a woman's hair is her glory. Bible says it. It says, the glory of the woman is her hair. [8:29] Okay. So, the woman covers her hair. The woman who, sorry, she comes to Jesus, and uses her hair to wipe his feet. And guess what? [8:40] When she was busy loving God, the critics said, yeah, I told you, I know, yeah, I know. This man is not a prophet. If he were to be a prophet, he would have known that this woman is a prostitute. [8:52] This man is unclean, and allowing her to wash him, or clean his feet with her hair. They don't, they don't. And Jesus said, I came to your house, Simon, you did not give me water to wash. [9:06] See, you forgot what you have done, what you haven't done. And we are so busy about, on what others shouldn't be doing. He said, it's not about what people, what she has done, or what she shouldn't be doing now. [9:19] It's about what, think about what you should be doing. You neglected your responsibility. I came to your house. She did not even give me water to wash my feet. And this woman has come, and is wiping my feet with her hair. [9:32] And you want to castigate her, you want to criticize her. And then he went on to say that, he who is forgiving much, loves much. He is forgiving little. [9:43] I don't know how many of you are forgiven before. How many of you really don't feel forgiven? But if you have been forgiven before. Okay. Maybe even when, because some of us, before we came to Christ, we were very good. [9:56] Good, right? No, some of us were cool. And so, we came to Christ, and we don't feel, that, I've not done any major thing. I've not killed anybody. I've not really, you know, no major sin. [10:09] I've been cool, and I'm now in Christ. So, police would never have looked for me. I would never have been in prison. Because I've been good. Whilst others today know, that they would have been in prison, in and out, because of how bad they were. [10:21] So, such, most of those people, when they come to Christ, they feel very grateful, usually. But those of us who think, we have good records. When we come to Christ, I've never smoked. I've never drunk. [10:31] I don't even know what it feels to be drunk. And I've never, I've never, I've never been with women. I've never been with men. I've just been always good. And so, we bring that to church, and then we forget, that it's not about what we have done, but it's not about what he has done. [10:47] What he has done. So, do you know what, what's, well, as soon as we all hate church, everybody's past doesn't matter. [11:00] Whether yours is good, or, because, it's, it's really, everyone needs salvation. Upon all your goodness, and your niceness, didn't you fall sick? He used to be sick too. [11:13] Upon all your goodness, and your niceness, weren't you sleeping at night? You go to bed, so you are human being then. Right. So, the point is that, we have to first focus on his love. [11:25] Church, that's why we have to sing more about his love. What's love? He said, behold, what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called. [11:36] Think about it. 1 John chapter 3, verse 1. He said, behold, what manner of love the Father has given unto us. Say us. Us. Say us. Us. [11:47] Christianity is not a me life, it's an us life. Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed, he has bestowed on us, that we should be called the children of God. [11:58] And he said, the world does not know us, because it does not, it did not know him. So, don't try to let people see who you are in Christ. They will know. Unbelievers will know. [12:09] See, we live for him. It makes it much more easy. It makes it easier when you focus on the enormity of his love. Many Christians can't embrace God's love properly. [12:23] They can't. They can't embrace because, how can God love me? When you talk about this, God is okay. He can't do anything. So, but listen, you are actually so loved. [12:35] You're so loved. And now, if that, that is why, hey, listen, that's why God will go any length to forgive you. He didn't get it. [12:46] He didn't get it. He didn't get it. That's why God will go any length to forgive you. He will do anything to forgive you. God is a God of love. [12:56] So, from that understanding and that perspective, you begin to live your Christian life. You are committed to God who only loves you. He's the only one who can say he's the lover of your soul. [13:09] He knows things about you which no one knows. Yes, he loves you better than any other person. He knows you better than yourself. [13:23] How many of you have ever surprised yourself? Hey, could I have done this? Is this me? Did this come out of my mouth? Did I just do that? And you even, I will never do anything like that. [13:35] If I do, may I die? Then less than two months or less than one month, you find yourself, hey, so you keep surprising yourself. So, you are loaded with stuff you don't even know you got. [13:49] And yet, God knows all that and he loves you. Key word, unconditionally. So, is it too much to live for this lover? [14:01] We will do anything for anybody. Jesus, lover of my soul. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. [14:12] Somebody clap for Jesus. Amen. Let me show you how people, God love us behaved. [14:24] God love us. What does he mean to live for Christ? Meaning that your life is at his disposal. Your life is actually at his word. [14:36] You only live based on what he wants. When people begin to marginalize the importance of God's word, it's a mere man talking. A mere man talking. [14:49] When he's, you know, you appreciate what he's done for you. Now, because of what God has done, he didn't even request, but he has done for you, it is just rational and normal to return our life, our love in the form of our lives. [15:05] Because what else can you give to God? But you know the truth of the matter? The matter? If you give God your life, he's going to make it better for you, not for him. You see? [15:16] It's like double barrier. You win on both ends. Because God is sufficient. And he just wants to help you. And so because of, you see, that's, that's, that's love at work. [15:29] He loved us so much, he gave us himself. And then because, when we begin to understand and appreciate his love, and we respond with love, or we respond with our lives, guess what? [15:41] He just loves us, so he wants everything to be for us. So his love is always towards us, just to make us good, just to help us. Then Bible said, for the time is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father, right, spirit and in truth, John chapter 4, verse 23, 24, he said, for such seeketh the Father, God is looking for some people, who are coming to give him worship. [16:03] Then he said, you, I'm going to beautify you. I see God making someone beautiful. So in conclusion, in, in, in, in, the, for examples we find in the scriptures, is people like Epaphros, Epaphros, Epaphros, sorry, he, he gave himself so much that, he almost was at the point of death, for the work's sake, Philippians chapter 2, verse 24, Bible talks about how this gentleman, was at the point of death, Philippians chapter 2, let's look at this, as for us, we live for Christ, don't forget, never forget the scripture, for me to live is Christ, to die is gain, the, the new living translation says what, living, means living for Christ, and dying is even better, Philippians chapter 2, verse, look, let's go, verse 20, 20, 20 what, what did I say, 25, yet, I consider it necessary, to send to you, [17:03] Epaphros, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, but your messenger, and the one who ministered to my niece, since he was longing for you all, and was distressed, because you heard that he was sick, for indeed, he was sick, almost unto death, but God had mercy on him, and, not only on him, but also, me also, sorry, but me also, lest I shall have sorrow upon sorrow, verse 28, therefore, I send him, I send him the more eagerly, that when he see, when you see him, again, you may rejoice, and I may be less sorrowful, watch this, verse 29, receive him, therefore, in the Lord, with all gladness, and hold such men, in esteem, hold, such men, what kind of men, Epaphroditus, such men, like Epaphroditus, who have, who have given, listen to the next statement, the next statement is serious, can we already together, verse 30, look at it, why did he say, hold them in esteem, why, because, for the work of Christ, he came close to death, not regarding his life, to supply, what was lacking, in your service, to us, for the work of Christ, he came close, he almost died, he said, hold such men, in high esteem, he understands, what he means, to give his life, as for God's service, not what he would get, he said, [18:39] Bible says that, he, he, for the work of Christ, came so close to death, he almost died, and as though he was not, look at, people like Paul, Paul himself, 2nd Corinthians chapter 1, verse 8, this is serious, 2nd Corinthians chapter 1, verse 8, talks about how Paul, the things that Paul, went through brother, Paul says that, 2nd Corinthians chapter 1, hey, 2nd Corinthians chapter 1, verse, verse, verse 8, alright, thank God for your teachers, now, for, for we do, hmm, for we do not want you, to be ignorant brothers, of our troubles, which came to us, in Asia, that, that region has always, been interesting, that we were, burdened, beyond measure, above strength, so that we, despaired, even of life, life, what we, what we did, the work of God, we were burdened, beyond measure, we were burdened, do you have, um, message Bible, there, let's see how, he's gonna put it, the message Bible, or is it there, we, we don't want you, in the dark, friends, about how hard, it was when, all this came down, on us, in Asia, [20:03] Asia province, it was so, hard, we didn't think, sorry, it was so bad, we didn't think, we are going to make it, things that came to them, were so bad, they didn't even think, they would make it, life, they were pressed, beyond measure, why, doing the work of God, we want all, what God, what's in God's hands, we don't want to give him, all the, what is in our hands, your miracle is coming, but there's so much, in your hands, there's no, there's no space, in your hands for God, God, bless me now, God, bless me now, and you're collecting, other words, God, bless me now, God, where is he going, to put in my brother, in conclusion, I said on Sunday, that if you are committed, to God, check if you are, perpherodotus, God healed him, stop running, from demons, submit to God, and the devil, will flee, from you, demons have never, been a problem, to the people of God, who are in, in submission to God, demons are never, a problem, listen, you, don't do God, a favor, by serving, in church, when you appreciate, we sincerely appreciate, what is done for you, your life, is not too much, to give to him, you become dedicated, and guess what, when you are dedicated, he heals you, when you are dedicated, miracles are your, exclusive preserve, miracles come your way, miracles come, [21:30] I see miracles coming, to somebody's way, I see miracles coming, to somebody's way, I see miracles coming, to somebody's way, please, in conclusion, love him, serve him, give him all, you will not lose, it pays better, it pays more, you will never lose, give him, give him all, and just give yourself, a year, two years, three years, and look back, and you'll be very happy, for making such a decision, no regrets, give him all, anything you place, in his hands, Bible says that, I know, I am persuaded, he's able to keep, what I've entrusted to him, on to the day, he will keep it, and I see God blessing you, may he add his grace, to his holy way, did you get something, come on, put
