We thank God you've tuned into this message by David Entry at Caris Church. No hand can help you with the fulfillment of your destiny but the Word of God. [0:11] May God's hand align you further into your destiny through this word. What to do in a prophetic hour? What to do in a prophetic season? What to do in a prophetic moment? [0:25] We are in a prophetic moment. We are in a prophetic hour. We are in a prophetic season. And there's always something to do in a prophetic season and in a prophetic hour. [0:42] And number one, what did I say? Strike. Number one is strike. The king said strike. And he striked just a little. [1:01] And the king was upset because he said you should have striked five or seven times. But you've striked only once. You strike only three times. You have missed out and lost out. [1:17] You know, so it's important to, when you come into an atmosphere like this, don't wait for anybody. When they say, let's pray. Just strike. Pray more than you are asked to pray. Do you understand that? [1:33] Because it's a prophetic season. You have to strike when the opportunity comes. You have to move very quickly. Please remember this and don't forget this. [1:45] How quickly you are able to seize an opportunity and move can be a major determinant between your greatness and your nothingness. [1:59] And sometimes it's just an opportunity that comes. One of the things I've found out about many people who are gifted and talented and have ability, but don't quickly excel or they are excelling doesn't break loose and escalate. [2:20] One of the things I've found out about many people is timing. One of the things I've found out about many people is timing. Timing. Timing is everything. Listen. Your lateness is a plague, but you don't know. [2:32] No one does well who is always late. No. Take your time and process it. It's a sign that a certain urgency and seriousness about matters in life, you don't have it. [2:49] You don't understand what you are dealing with. Promptness to act. Promptness in acting can determine a person's greatness or ordinariness. [3:05] How many of you have realized I'm prophesying? In the time of a prophetic error, God doesn't have time. [3:17] Untimeness. Which means that there are testimonies that are no longer going to delay. When you look at your age, some things shouldn't delay. [3:36] No. Sometimes we toy with what has the ability to cripple us. Greatness has everything to do with seizing moments. [3:50] If there is something you should pray about, God, sharpen my discernment. That's what the songwriter, psalmist says that, teach me to number my days. [4:03] That I can apply my heart unto it. Let me understand what I'm dealing with. Be wild pursuing God. Strike once you know this is the right season. [4:17] And so in a prophetic season, some of you, you have to strike. Take an action now. Before it's too late. Take actions. What's the point in praying, praying, praying, praying without taking action? [4:33] You missed it. You missed it. You can't pray and pray without taking action. Every effective prayer produces actions. And sometimes move fast. [4:48] What's the second point? Make haste. Don't delay. Don't delay. Move fast with supersonic speed. [5:05] Make haste. Sometimes you make decisions in a service. Can you imagine you are praying? You are praying in such a prophetic atmosphere. One of the things that we are going to be praying about is every time you fast, you really pray. [5:22] The first day I was teaching on the fasting, some of the blessed days of fasting, revelation, it reveals things in you and to you. Yeah. How many of you since we started fasting? [5:33] Some things have come to light to you. Things will come to light. When you are fasting, suddenly, ah, I have to attend to this matter. Ah, this is why this has been happening in my life. [5:48] Oh, I have to do this. Sometimes a light comes. He said, then your light shall break forth. So, fasting brings light, insight, something about your life or something negative in your life or positive. [6:10] Sometimes you are fasting and you know that I have to forgive this person. person. When we come here, we are praying. Oh, every good prayer, you begin to have insight. Once you zoom, especially those who block their vision, and there is that one which is not evil, but it can be destructive, and the one that you are lying or you face the wall, you are not seeing anything. And when that rubber hits the road and your seriousness and hunger kicks in, you actually don't feel like moving. You don't feel like... Most times, when I am in private praying, praying, praying, I usually like the room very dark, telling off all the lights, me and God. [6:58] Those kind of prayers, when you concentrate and you zoom in, God will reveal something to you. Act fast means that there are things God will reveal to you. You have to move. As you are here, there are things God... In fact, you can take somebody in or block somebody now. Yeah. God told you block. [7:17] Don't wait. To wait now. God told you do something. Act now. Act now. In a prophetic atmosphere, how you act will determine how fast things can change for you. Determines how fast things can change for you. [7:39] Number three. In first Kings chapter 19, verse 19. Elijah threw his mantle, his garment. So he departed from there and then found Elisha, the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with 12 yoke of oxen before him. [7:57] And he was with the 12. Then Elijah passed by and threw his mantle on him. That was a statement, prophetic statement. Your hour has come. [8:09] Amen. Amen. Amen. Yeah. And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah. He left. As soon as the mantle touched him, he left and ran. He didn't walk. Run after. And then went and said, please, let's... and said, please, let me kiss my father and my mother and then I will follow you. And he said to him, go back again. For what have I done to you? [8:35] Every prophetic season doesn't force people. He said, he passed the mantle, but he knew that it's a calling. But Elijah said, I've not done anything to you. It's up to you. [8:49] So he went back. Do you know what he went and did? Elijah turned back from him and took the yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and bought their flesh using the oxen's equipment and gave it to the people. And they ate. Then he has finished something. [9:06] Yeah. Closed a chapter. He couldn't go back again. Even if he wanted to go back to that business. He slaughtered all of them and given them up. Yeah. Slaughter is a major sacrifice. [9:23] What kind of work with God are you embracing which doesn't call for sacrifices? It's not serious work with God. [9:37] Not only the sacrifices others can see. But there are some sacrifices nobody sees. This year. They are attempting great things for God. [9:50] Attempt. But when you fast and pray, you are actually drawing up. [10:01] You are actually forcing the supernatural into your life. If you know you are dealing with a stubborn situation in your marriage, in your career, in your family life, with a child, with your health, you are dealing with a stubborn situation. [10:20] If you are not aware, then it's quite sad. How can you be dealing with a stubborn situation? You are not aware. And you keep coming to church here. [10:30] You are not aware that this thing, if you are pulling, there's an adage somewhere. It says that when you are, if you are pulling a rope and it's not coming, that means something is holding on to it. [10:43] A rope should just be coming. If you are pulling it and it's not coming, that means something is held on to it. So that means that you have to take the bull by the horn. [10:56] Sometimes in seasons like this, clear everything from your, your view and focus and not take the bull by the horn. [11:07] Fight. Fight and change the outcome. Change the outcome. So, slaughter, sometimes it will call for an extreme sacrifice. [11:20] God will be talking to you about sacrifice. Slaughter. Solomon offered a thousand bent offerings. That's the serious one. [11:31] Even to do one is a lot. Let alone a thousand bent offerings. And Bible said, God smelt it. And God said, prophet, go and ask Solomon, what do I want? [11:42] What do you want me to do? God reacted. God reacted. He said, Solomon, what shall I give him? That same night too, God didn't wait for another time. [11:53] He said, some of you, tonight, God is going to visit you. Tonight, God is visiting you. Tonight, God is visiting you. Tonight, God is visiting you. [12:06] In the name of Jesus. Solomon, what do you want me to do? This slaughter thing you have done is serious. You have to take a step so much that people won't realize the step you have taken, but heaven will notice it. [12:24] In a prophetic atmosphere, say, it doesn't just work because you have showed up. It works because you are working it. You have to work it. [12:38] In a prophetic atmosphere. So it's not only offering, sometimes God will tell you, forgive somebody. Act. Be very fast. [12:49] Sometimes God will tell you, do something. God will tell you, pray at midnight, every day after the fasting. Don't wait for the fasting to finish. Start. Start. [13:01] Strike. Immediately. Go on to it. Sometimes God will tell you, tell your wife, I'm sorry. Tell your husband, I'm sorry. Act fast. Slaughter your pride. [13:14] Slaughter it. Sometimes God will tell you, sometimes God will tell you to confess. confess. Because you know you are not free. [13:25] What you have done, you are trying to, it's like you are owing the bank. No, not even the bank. Congestion charge. They've sent you a letter. They've sent you a letter and you know you are supposed to handle it, but you are ignoring it. [13:43] Sometimes God will prompt something, what you have done, you are not free. Go and confess. Confess. If somebody confesses as a Christian because of their convictions and you use it against them, you have flipped the narrative. [14:03] Yeah, you have flipped it because they obeyed God and you didn't show mercy. You are in trouble. Thank you for listening to this message by David Entry.
