[0:13] Be blessed. It takes being in the Spirit to receive from God. I was in the Spirit and I heard, I heard.

[0:25] The Spirit is a realm. When you enter that place, you hear things, you see things. That ordinary people don't see. So Jesus told Peter, flesh and blood has not refilled this to you.

[0:37] Naturally, you can't get some things. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day and I heard. Revelation chapter 1 verse 10. Revelation chapter 4 verse 10.

[0:48] He said, I was in the Spirit and I heard. Revelation chapter 17 verse 3. And he carried me in the Spirit and showed me. Revelation chapter 21 verse 10. And he carried me in the Spirit and showed me.

[1:58] The agreement. The work happens in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit himself bears witness with our spirits. So, when the Spirit of God is going to communicate something to me.

[2:22] Not our minds. He can still work on our minds by us to start in our spirits. So, it says, the Spirit himself, he bears witness with your human spirit.

[2:34] When you become born again, what happens to you is your human spirit comes alive. If your human spirit is not alive unto God, you are classified as dead.

[2:46] As dead. So, when you become born again, suddenly the life of God is called the Zowie of God. The Bible says that, because we are sons, he has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts.

[3:00] Which Christ, our Father. So, the Spirit of the Lord bears witness in our spirits. Romans chapter 8 verse 13 talks about, if you are carnally minded, you will miss God.

[3:13] Romans 8 verse 13 says that, for if you live according to the flesh, you will die. But if by the Spirit, you put to death the deeds of the body. It takes the Spirit for you to be able to deal with your flesh.

[3:26] Your body. What we have as Christians is our spirits are alive unto God.

[3:38] Use it. Use your spirit. You are too, you've made, most of your decisions are all made from the flesh. Most of your decisions are made based on our carnal instincts.

[3:58] Make decisions based on where you live, who you marry, even the name of your children. The name of your children is based on carnal instincts.

[4:11] The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirits. So, you must learn how to get into the Spirit. Engage your spirit.

[4:23] For the that worship Him must do it in spirit and in truth. It says that, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.

[4:38] In what way? Having been made a curse. Galatians chapter 3, verse 13. Being made a curse for us. For it is written that curse is he who hangs on the tree.

[4:51] That one is in brackets. So, how, in what way was he made a curse for us? No, it wasn't that God cursed him. But there's a written quote that anyone who hangs on a tree is a curse.

[5:03] That's why Judas went to hang himself on a tree. Anyone who hangs himself is a curse. So, Jesus Christ, by being hanged on a tree, it was a curse thing.

[7:07] How much money you have got. How much you are saving. God is blessing me. Excuse me. The thing happens so that you might be filled with the Holy Spirit. God is blessing you. But you are very Holy Ghost-less.

[7:19] In your decisions. In your approach. In your friendships. In the places you go. You always are roaming in very dry places. Places that only vultures will go. That's where you go. You don't go places where doves will go.

[7:33] You are saying that. You are filled with the Holy Spirit. Meanwhile you are boasting about your physical acquisition. Because you are in Christ. This is what God has done for you. Please. Don't do that.

[7:44] Because it's likely. You might have gotten the Satan's version. Satan has a version of prosperity.

[7:55] How do you differentiate between the prosperity of Satan and the prosperity? The prosperity of God is inspired by the Holy Spirit. And the one God is prospering is Holy Ghost-conscious. But does Satan really give blessing?

[8:11] You call it blessing. But it's not a blessing. Everything you call blessing. Anything that is favorable to our whims and our desires. We call it a blessing. No. It's not necessarily a blessing.

[8:22] It's not necessarily a blessing. You remember when that friend of yours, auntie of yours was getting married. But for a long time she couldn't find a man. And then she found this guy who was a pilot and she was getting married.

[8:34] It was a big blessing in the family. It's only later on they find out that the guy is a dangerous guy. He had all kinds of sickness and he's a wicked guy. That became the biggest curse. But I thought you said it was a blessing.

[8:48] You are calling the marriage a blessing. But that is what is going to mess your life. That marriage you call the blessing is what will ruin your life. I'm not saying marriage is not a blessing. But I'm saying that you are calling it a blessing because you think it's favorable for you.

[9:03] Don't be making noise about blessing. Be making noise about the spirit behind this thing you are doing. And then if it is full of the spirit and you are not even seeing physical, radical physical instant testimonies, don't worry.

[9:19] It will follow one day. So you should be rather busy getting, being filled with the spirit, interacting with the spirit, than busy believing God to receive something.

[9:32] When we are praying, we are blessing you, you will kneel down by where you go and you don't work with the spirit. What kind of things have we created in the church nowadays?

[9:43] The modern day church has become something different. It's likely if we don't take it, Jesus will come and say, What are they? What are they? Who are these for? What are they?

[9:54] What's going on here? They haven't worshipped. What kind of worship is that? Because when you read the book of Revelation, I will just change to my tongue.

[10:08] When you read the book of Revelation, the letter to the church, the first church is which one? Which one? Ephesus. The church of Ephesus. They told them that you are okay.

[10:19] And one of the things they have done is they hate. If you really love God, you hate something. Excuse me. You hate something. If you really take a stand for God, you hate something. Anyway, he said, you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans.

[10:35] You hate it. The deeds of the Nicolaitans. And you have, those who call themselves prophets, you have tested them and found them liars. So, it wasn't easy for unbelievers to come and be thriving amongst them.

[10:50] Unbelievers couldn't thrive easily among them. Then, sad is the suffering keeps unbelievers out of the church. Sorry, it's minor. The suffering keeps unbelievers. It's that prosperity thing.

[11:03] I'm getting, I'm getting, I'm getting. It attracts, some of you are trying to attract your unbelievers friends. And some of them come around, but they haven't changed. They don't change. They are not interested. It's just what, let's preach the devil out of them.

[11:20] So, now, when it comes to Pergamos, now the world has come into the church. But the world hasn't taken over. Then Titeria, the world has increased.

[11:32] They are celebrating the world in the church. Then Sadist, it becomes very bad. By the time it gets to Laodicea, now the believers have finished in the church.

[11:45] The world has taken over. And Jesus himself is standing at the door outside. He's knocking. Can I come in? Can I? It starts gradually. Gradually.

[13:11] When we look at the content of your regular prayers, it will tell us the uprightness of your heart. Because when you are walking with God in purity and with uprightness, a lot of things don't become a prayer topic.

[13:26] It doesn't become a prayer topic. It doesn't become praying for money to be able to. You don't even pray about money. You don't pray about every day a new job, Lord.

[13:40] Every day a new job, Lord. You better consider working a little bit more upright. And you will see phone calls, jobs you have not applied for.

[13:56] Without even us prophesying it. It is coming to you. Tell somebody, I believe I need a change of heart. You know, I can be moving from one thing to the other.

[14:12] I've been saying a lot of things. But I think somebody needs the help of God. We came to church, isn't it? The subject of repentance has been a very important subject in the Bible.

[14:25] Especially in the New Testament. When John the Baptist was sent, the first thing he began saying is repent. Matthew chapter 3, right from verse 2. He said repent. John the Baptist was crying out, repent.

[14:38] Saying, repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Why? Because repentance is a key into the kingdom. You can't just walk into the kingdom without repentance.

[14:51] You have to enter the kingdom via the door of repentance. Is it surprising that you are not seeing the manifestation of the kingdom in your life? Maybe there's some repentance door you have to use.

[15:06] Repent. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. That's John the Baptist's preaching. And then look at verse 8. It says that you have to bring forth works, fruits of repentance.

[15:19] It must show. Bear fruits worthy of repentance. When you say you have changed, we should see your works. Where are your fruits? Why is it that you are an apple tree and you are producing sour sap?

[15:35] Okay, you don't know sour sap. Yep. Yep. And imagine you go to your orchard to go and get some mandarins or satsuma.

[15:57] Then when you went, it's onions on the tree. Yes. Yes. Bear, bring forth fruits. Fruits.

[16:08] You don't even have to tell people you have changed. They will know you have changed. Fruit of repentance. Fruit of repentance. That church sister you've been messing up with, she will know you have changed.

[16:46] And they are wondering, but this girl normally likes talking about other people. What has happened? You have repented. So the fruits are beginning to show. There are some of us here, since you changed, nobody who has known you, who knew you from your family, your friends, none of them have come.

[17:04] No, you have to tell them I'm now in church. And they are wondering, is this really soon? Because there's nothing else. Nothing has changed in your life. Nothing has changed. People should see that, hey, these guys, you all know, but they are observing you.

[17:17] And one day they say, wow, my brother has really changed, you know. Are you getting what I'm saying? Poor man. Bring forth fruits worthy of repentance.

[17:29] Then Jesus shows up on the scene, Matthew chapter 4 verse 17, and he tells them his first public address, repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

[17:41] Jesus began to preach and to say, this is how he's beginning at the beginning of his preaching. I want to draw your attention to the key of repentance, because there's something about repentance which is likely we have marginalized.

[17:53] Because Jesus, when he started, he said, repent. Why? He began to preach and to say, repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. So he started, his introduction was repent, so we can have communication.

[20:11] What are sinners supposed to do? Repentance. So it doesn't come and... You see, that kind of grace message... That kind of grace message, you find God understands.

[20:24] He still understands the way you are struggling with your sins. One day things will change. He comes, He likes you just the way you are. No, no, no, no, no. You can't come in with the same clothes.

[20:35] You have to remove that dirty garment and wear the garments of repentance. Then we can start talking. Until that is done, the negotiation can go on.

[20:50] There will be no deal. No deal. No deal. So it says repent and bring forth fruits of repentance.

[21:03] Repent the kingdom of God. And then Mark comes, Mark chapter 1 verse 4. He brings John the Baptist again. John the Baptist begins to talk about repentance.

[21:14] That's John the Baptist. Mark spoke about John the Baptist talking about repentance. Mark chapter 1 verse 4. And then they were preaching baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. You see, there's a connection with repentance helping to deal with your sin.

[21:30] Some of us want the sin to be dealt with but not repentance. And verse 15, Jesus comes on the scene to talk about repentance again.

[21:44] Verse 15. Let's start from verse 14. Verse 14. Now, after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.

[21:56] So Jesus came. John is now in prison. Jesus has come to do the takeover now. Doing the work. He came to collect his members. Now the next one. The next one is the saying.

[22:08] The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the gospel. What is repentance?

[24:33] You are not saved if you haven't repented. You are certainly not saved. There are two types of repentance.

[24:45] There is the repentance of contrition and repentance of attrition. I will talk about it later. You are not saved if you haven't repented.

[24:58] Jesus, they went to preach. The apostles were preaching, repent. For the kingdom of heaven is at hand. In Luke chapter 3, verse 3, John the Baptist preached again.

[25:11] Luke 2 brings his version. John the Baptist preached repentance. Luke chapter 3, verse 8. John the Baptist. Jesus was talking about how it's the sick that needs the doctor. He came to call the...

[25:34] And do not begin to say, we have... Our church is powerful. My pastor preached. I know a lot in the Bible. No, no, please. Bring forth fruits worthy of repentance. Your church is powerful, but you are still living with that guy.

[27:24] It's just that you don't want the problem. You are trying to manage to avoid the problem. But what led to the problem, it hasn't changed.
