[0:00] So the great power in little things. That's what I'm speaking on. Great power in little things. So we just read in Luke chapter 16.! People's lists will come from different, will start in different spaces. [0:34] Somebody's lists, you know, some people are ordained to be maybe a kingdom financier, exceptionally wealthy for God's purpose. So their lists may not be, you know, right from ground zero. [0:49] They may start from wherever. Some people also become exceptionally wealthy from ground zero. But whatever seems the list to you might be different from what seems the list to another person. So that's the point I'm trying to make. [1:02] But you would know. Because anybody who is sacrificing knows what the costs they are taking, they are making, you know, the price they are paying for a thing that they are doing. [1:13] But fundamentally, we are required to be faithful. I mean, there's nobody here who has reached their maximum. I pray so. I don't think anybody would think that this is you're living your best life ever. Now. [1:25] Yeah. So therefore, for most of us, we are in a season of our lists. Yes. Yeah. And you should believe that you're in a season. Because this is, if this is your best. No. [1:35] You should say amen. I'm in my season of my list because there is much coming. Yeah. So in seasons like this, you are, you are a leader. You are serving a department. [1:48] You're a young person in the house of God. You're in your season of your list. So there was Eli as a priest and there was a young man, Samuel. [2:00] He didn't even know he had started his ministry. Until God called him. As far as he was concerned, he was just serving in the house of God. Just being somebody who waits on the man of God. [2:11] Until the voice of God came. But he must have been faithful until that day. So he was in a season of lists. His mother brought him after he's been weaned. So maybe two years, whatever, his mother brought him to the temple. [2:24] And he was just serving in the temple. He grew up in the temple. And with the great man of God. And as he served, as his daily duty was. [2:36] As he just did what he normally did. Went to bed as he normally does. Because God appeared and spoke to him. When you look at somebody else like Zacharias. [2:48] Or the father of John the Baptist. His season of lists had been a very long time. Very long time. But one day he went into the temple. As his normal custom was. [3:02] And an angel of the Lord appeared. He was about to enter his space of match. But he had been a long season. That's why I said, people, everybody's list will look different. [3:14] But you will know. We are in the season of plowing. We are in the season of sowing. There will be major seasons. Where it will be time of being in the season of your lists. [3:26] Don't be in a hurry. What God requires of you in your seasons of lists is faithfulness. Faithfulness. Faithfulness. [3:37] Keeping at it. What is faithfulness? Doing it as it is required consistently. Doing it as it is required consistently. You are being faithful. [3:50] Why does God do that? God is very wise, you know. Very wise. Very wise. He does that because every one of us has to be pruned. [4:02] Has to be tested. Has to be prepared. Has to be prepared. Has to be processed. Has to be transformed. Has to be renewed. Before the showing forth of what is much. [4:17] God must of a necessity do it. Because a lot of us can't even stand to be blessed. Because the blessing will be too heavy for you. [4:29] If you have not been prepared and built up. There are things you are asking from God. You don't have what it takes to carry it. If you haven't been built up. [4:41] It will break you. Yeah. Some blessings just cannot come. If God loves you. It will break you. So everybody has to go through the seasons of least. [4:54] And being faithful in that is building you up. Building you up. Building you up. Until you come to the day of maturity. Where God can entrust much into your hands. [5:07] That is the only guarantee that you will be faithful in the much. If you are not. So God has to test each one of us. With different things. And the thing about faithfulness is. [5:17] They said you must be found. So that means that. You are faithful when somebody is watching. You are faithful when somebody is not watching. Your faithfulness marking scheme is not with somebody else. [5:30] It's with God. The marking scheme of your faithfulness is with God. So he is the only one who is checking. Checking. Other people can check. [5:40] But they cannot really know. Whether you are faithful. Some of us we define faithful as just showing up. And you know what God told you is more than showing up. Yeah. [5:52] Anyway God uses small things. To make big statements. The Bible tells us that. Don't despise the days of small beginnings. Why? It is in the small beginnings. [6:02] You will see great things. Let me remind you of a few instances in the scriptures. Where something seems small. But had great impact. Eve ate a fruit. [6:13] Genesis chapter 3. One fruit. The whole of humanity. Is being plunged. Into sin. Actually because of that. [6:26] Some people will literally go to hell. They didn't ask for it. They just came with signature. And they are on their way to hell. It wasn't much. She didn't insult God. She didn't curse God. [6:38] She ate a fruit. Small. Small. Big eternal impact. God calls one man Abraham. [6:51] But in Romans chapter 4. He is called the father of all who believe. Including you and I. Abraham's descendants are not only the Israelites. [7:02] The Israelis. The Jews today. All of us. Anyone and everyone who believes. He is our father. One man. God can raise a people. In Joshua chapter 2. [7:14] Jericho is falling. Rahab's call. Cord. Alone. Is enough. To sustain a family. It's not much. It's just a. [7:25] A thin. Piece of cloth. Sustain. A people. Whilst the whole nation. Collapses. The anointing of David. [7:36] God says. Samuel. In 1st Samuel chapter 16. It said. Go and anoint to David. As a king have I appointed. In the state. Of. Saul. God is interesting. [7:49] He picks the smallest. Town. Bethlehem. There's nothing happening in Bethlehem. Nothing major. He goes to a family. Not any man prominent. [7:59] Per se. And the man has. Children. They start bringing the children. The children. The big ones. God says. I don't want. Not that one. Not that one. So don't. Don't bother. [8:10] If you haven't. You don't have great status. Believe in your great God. And what he has planned for your life. It will make greatness out of you. Amen. And then David shows up. [8:22] Nothing significant. But God said. He's the one. To the point that. Even someone was surprised. Why God is choosing that one. Yeah. But men look on the outward. [8:34] And then what were you used to anointing. Was a horn of oil. A horn. It's no major. You think they should bring a golden. You know. Cup. [8:45] Something major. That looks important. And significant. But God said no. Go to Bethlehem. A small place. Go to a man who hasn't. Have significance. And out of his sons. [8:56] Some look formidable. Some don't. Go for the least one. And then you're going to use a horn of oil. How does oil transform a person? From being a shepherd to a king. [9:08] But it does. Don't despise small things. David used five stones. Pick five stones. And use one stone. One stone. [9:20] One stone. To defeat not just Goliath. But the entirety of the army of the Philistines. One stone. One stone is enough. [9:32] One stone is enough. It doesn't matter the noise the enemy is making. God needs only one stone. One. This is teaching you as things. [9:44] And taking a close look. Sometimes you want the big vision. Because it take. Take. Pay attention to the small things. As you pay attention to the small things. [9:55] The big things will naturally happen. One stone was enough. To bring down Goliath. And the coming down of Goliath. Means the destruction. The defeat of the Philistines. [10:08] God doesn't need much. You just keep your head down. And do what is needful. Today. Today. Naaman is a major, major, major. [10:19] Army officer. He has a big problem. But it takes a little Hebrew girl. To show him the way. For his deliverance. [10:30] In 2nd Kings chapter 5. Big army officer. But a little Hebrew girl. Has got his deliverance in her hand. Don't despise. [10:40] The days. Of small beginnings. Elijah is used to mighty deeds of God. Mighty. Mighty deeds. He's able to go onto the mountain. And call down fire. Kill 450. [10:53] Prophets of Baal. Kill another 400. I mean he's doing amazing things. He's in a season where. He needs to hear the voice of God. He goes on to wait on God. [11:05] All things are coming. Turn this. This. That. God doesn't show up. It's not in the bigness. The Bible says. There's still small voice. [11:17] The Lord speaks. God uses small things. To make a big impact. Mary is a young. Young. Young lady. Between the age of 13 to 17. [11:30] But she's the only one. God can find. She's the one. He pleases the Lord. To use. To bring the Messiah. Young girl. [11:41] Nothing significant. Apart from the fact that. God had chosen her. Nothing special. The Holy Spirit himself. Came in the. [11:52] In the form. Of a dove. If you look at animals. A bit. Dove are not the important ones. It should come in the form of an eagle. Yeah. [12:04] Then you know that he has landed. Of power. Because eagles can pick animals bigger than them. And fly with it. That's the strength of an eagle. We see in Luke chapter 19. [12:16] Zacchaeus. A small man. A short man. Yeah. But you know the big. The big thing about Zacchaeus. His heart. His ability to repent. And immediately. [12:28] Act. Show fruit of repentance. To a young boy. Carries two fishes. And five loaves of bread. And Jesus said. [12:39] That's good enough. We will feed 5,000 men. And over 15,000 people. That's okay. Do you have five loaves and two fishes? [12:51] That's enough for him. Come. That's why I like the word he gave us in Isaiah chapter 55. He said. Come. You don't have to think. Am I good enough? Or do I have to change? Do I have to prepare? [13:02] What do I? Just come. Because what he has to do. And what he intends to do. Is the bigger. My thoughts are way above yours. Just don't despise the small beginnings. [13:14] Of just taking a step of obedience. Of just coming. You might think. Oh no. I have to do this. You don't have to do anything. If he said come. Just come. Or pay the simple things. Paul is known to be a small man. [13:27] Because in 2nd Corinthians chapter 10 verse 10. They said he's not impressive. When he comes in person. He's not impressive. He said the letters he writes. They seem to you know. Communicate some great. [13:38] But when you see him. He's not an impressive guy. But big ministry. Big. Big ministry. God uses small things. [13:50] To make big statements. That is why. It doesn't matter where you are today. It doesn't define where you're going. It cannot define where you're going. [14:01] Because the thoughts God has for you. Is way above. Anything you can think or imagine. Let alone open your mouth to ask. I say again. [14:12] If people ask us. Did you know you will get here? I would say no. Not because God can do things. But we couldn't have possibly imagined. How it will be done. The labor. [14:24] We were committed to the labor. But not to the fruits. We didn't know what the fruits would be. Yes. That's what the labor. We're committed to it. God shows this in a way that he says. [14:37] Out of his word in Matthew chapter 5 verse 18. He said. Not a jot. Or a tittle. Will not be fulfilled. All of it. [14:49] Will be fulfilled. Every bit of it. God is committed to the job. And he's committed to the tittle. God wanted a family. Out of it. He had to give his dear son. [15:00] Jesus Christ. His firstborn. Only begotten son. That he may become a firstborn. Amongst many brethren. Can I just refer to you. When you were giving your life to Christ. [15:12] What did you do? You just said a prayer. That's how simple. That was enough. For your salvation. [15:24] Very little. In the light of what you get. In the light of what has happened to you. So little. So little. So little. Few words. Your little hearts. [15:37] Broken hearts. Or could I say evil hearts. You just said a prayer. You just meant it. It will cause your salvation. [15:49] A great change in your life. Very little. In the light. Of what God has done. You cannot despise more things. [16:00] Why am I saying these things? When reverting back. To Luke chapter 16. It said you have to be faithful. In the least. It's easy to look for the big things. [16:12] We are in a world where. Everybody is looking for a viral moment. A big platform. Great promotion. There's nothing wrong with that. [16:24] But for God to know that he can take you to the full course. He can trust you long term. He will give you things that does not quickly get into a viral moment. I've even realized that even people. [16:35] Some people have viral moments. And there's one. And nothing happens again. Yeah. Yeah. One time. And if it will happen again and again. Somebody has to go back to do some work. Isn't it? [16:47] Yeah. For some. A viral moment is a spark. Doesn't mean that it's going to take over a forest. You have to go back and do the work. Again and again and again. Again. But here God is not impressed by your viral moment. [17:01] He's not necessarily impressed by your promotion. Massive promotion or your big platform. He's more interested in your faithfulness. He's more interested in your faithfulness. [17:12] And your faithfulness is a sign that he can commit to you true riches. Commit to you true riches. And so if God wants to make you a mega millionaire for the kingdom. [17:26] It says you cannot be. If you are not unfaithful. If you are not faithful with unrighteous women. How? Can I give you more than that? Mm-hmm. [17:37] In the kingdom of God. In the economy of God. Is the reverse. No viral moments first. No big stage first. The match comes after. [17:50] Seasons of faithfulness. The faithfulness. The match is a life. Is a reward for the life that has been lived. Being faithful in the little. [18:03] Your integrity matters you know. Yeah. Your integrity matters. Faithful in the word you said. One of the things we always use to check ourselves. Is when we promise our daughters something. [18:15] We say we have to do it. Yeah. If you said you have to do it. Come on. Yeah. Because you have to be faithful. That's. It comes that close. After all. [18:25] What can they do if we don't do it? They can't do anything. But to us. We have to be faithful. We have to be people of integrity. Wherever you go. Your word must be your word. [18:36] Yeah. People must trust you. You must be dependent. Because you're a Christian. And you are being faithful in the least. So that God can entrust. Match into your hands. [18:49] When your start time is eight o'clock. And you're working from home. The start time has not changed. It has not changed. Yeah. That's why Christians. [18:59] Because God is not killing us when we sin. We are still busy sinning. Yeah. Yeah. It's true. Because you have liberty now. But if you knew that as soon as I sinned I would die. You wouldn't do it. [19:10] Ah. Definitely we've income. I'm saying. What is that for? I'm not ready to die. But because we have liberty in Christ. You take advantage. So when you get to liberty. [19:22] Liberty is a sign of trust. Because God gave. When the law was replaced. By grace. It came with the Holy Spirit. So the coming of grace. [19:35] Came with. Was also. Coincide with. Or it's alongside the coming of the Holy Spirit. So the Holy Spirit can instruct us. So that the grace you have been received. You'll be faithful with it. [19:47] You see the way the Jewish people are still binding in their front legs. On their arm. The law is a schoolmaster. Schoolmaster. It's a strict schoolmaster. So it helps them not to go off. [19:59] But Christians. We don't have the ear stick. We have the Holy Spirit. So we just go off. You're busy grieving the Holy Spirit. You still can't feel it. Quentin is influencing your life. [20:09] You still can't feel it. Because you're still praying tongues. When you check. When you sin. You check. Let me check. Do I have those? Labracotta. It's still there. I got it. I got it. [20:20] I still got the spirit. I'm fine. Yeah. You realize you sin again and again. And you can still speak in time. I'm fine. You're not fine. You can't continue in sin. [20:31] Because grace will abound. No. What did he say? Say it again. What did he say? Uh-huh. God forbid. And so your integrity matters. [20:45] Your faithfulness is. As over a period of faithfulness. Faithfulness. You become a person of integrity. You are known like this. So you have to be faithful over a period of time. [20:57] To be a person of integrity. There are people who they know that ask for this person. If they say they will do it. It will be done. Count it as done. [21:09] And if you don't have a testimony in any shape or form. In any area of your life. It means you are not being faithful there. And it's something that you need to start working on. [21:20] You need to believe in the Holy Spirit to help you. To become faithful. Even if you think it's the least. Proverbs chapter 30. The scriptures give us example. [21:31] Of some small things. So sometimes when we say faithful. A lot of us will only think about it. In the ministry. [21:42] Which is a good thing. Because there is nothing like serving the Lord. Investing your life. Into what God is doing. And what God is building. There is nothing like that. Nothing better. [21:53] That is all walks of life. All spheres of life. Because when we read Luke chapter 16. You could see that it's talking about money. What is another man's. It cuts across different spheres of life. [22:07] And so. It is important. That you work on every aspect of your life. You see. This is what builds people. That's what. Make sure that when you get to a certain height in ministry. [22:18] You won't fall. Yeah. When people rise. And things happen and they fall. There were gaps. No, there were gaps. There were things they were supposed to deal with. [22:30] Or there were things that were supposed to be built in. That they weren't. Oh, it will show. And unfortunately. It shows when the weight of success comes. Yes. Yeah. I remember years ago. [22:43] There was a message that was preached. Can you stand to be blessed? Because in the space of blessing. In the realm of blessing. There will be so much challenges. To what you believe. You think you are. [22:54] To who you think you are. Proverbs chapter 30. Verse 24. It says there are four little things. Four things. Which are little on the earth. [23:05] But they are exceedingly wise. The ants are a people. Not strong. Yet they prepare their food in the summer. The rock badger. [23:17] Are a feeble folk. Yet they make their homes in the cracks. The locusts have no king. Yet they all advance in ranks. [23:28] And the spider skillfully grasps. With its hands. And it is in the king's palace. You know. There are spiders everywhere. They don't respect. It's only I came into the UK. [23:39] I realized spiders are to be feared. Where we come from. We just kill them. Then I realized. Ah. Spiders too are kind of dangerous animals. You are supposed to be scared of them. [23:50] I didn't understand. But I want to focus on the ants. The Bible says the ants are a people. Not strong. Yet they prepare their food in the summer. The ants have self-leadership. [24:01] When nobody is watching. When nobody is on their back. They said they are not strong. But they prepare. They are faithful in the summer season. So that when winter comes. [24:14] They will know. They will not perish. If you have seen. I mean. National Geographic or whatever. Ants are very interesting. Go and watch it. You don't have interest in nature. Nothing. [24:27] Yeah. You only watch people video. This, that. No. Sometimes relax with National Geographic. And see how the animals. You know. Are doing things. [24:37] It's part of God's creation. But. When you take time. To look at an ant. Sometimes I've watched them. They are carrying things. That is like three times their weight. And when you see that they can't carry it. [24:49] Then. You see that somebody will come along. They will go and get somebody. And two of them are holding their thing. And trying. Why? Why? There's self-leadership. There's team. Teamwork. It's tiny. [25:02] That's why it says in Proverbs chapter 6. Verse 6. It said. Go to the ants. Thou sluggard. And consider its ways. And be wise. There's wisdom. To learn from this small. [25:12] Tiny. Animal. There's wisdom. Wisdom of self-leadership. Where nobody has to chase you. When God wants to point faithfulness. [25:24] In the summertime. Where everybody is enjoying. Having fun. In preparing for the day of adversity. In preparing for the days of challenges. Being faithful. God says. [25:35] Look at the ants. It's very wise. You can learn from the ants. Because it's not waiting for anybody to tell them anything. So you could be a whole pharaoh. You don't have that. While the small ants have that already. [25:46] Bible says. Don't wait to become pharaoh. Learn now. Learn now. Learn now. Go to a small animal. And learn. How to be wise. [25:57] How to prepare for your future. Be faithful when you have. So that. The day of adversity. When it comes. You are prepared. You are prepared. They are persistent as well. [26:11] They are little. The Bible says that. They don't have much strength. But that doesn't stop them. Have you had a big pandemic? Of ants not finding food. [26:23] No. Human beings suffer famine. Have you ever heard in the news? Ants are not eating. No. Because they know how to prepare. They are persistent. [26:34] In doing what needs to be done. So that in that day. You can live with many excuses. You always have a new set. Okay. Beginning of the year. I have my set of things I'm doing. [26:46] Then mid February. You realize you haven't done any of them. You sit down again. You write it again. Some of you enjoy their writing of it. More than they're doing. You do. Do. Do. Do. Flowers. [26:56] Whatever on your right. It doesn't mean much. It pleases you. But it doesn't mean that it will be done. He said learn. Learn wisdom. In leading yourself. [27:07] Being able to work with people. And being persistent. Nobody's going anywhere if we cannot be persistent. We keep at it again. And again. And again. These are good things to learn. [27:20] Small things. Great impact. You need total consistency and continuity. In the right things. And in godly things. To ensure good success. [27:34] The Bible says in. Matthew chapter 13. The principle of the master's seed. 13.31. The Bible says that. [27:45] Another parable. He's put forth. To them saying. The kingdom of heaven. Is like a master's seed. Which a man took. And sowed in the field. Which indeed. Is the least of all the seeds. [27:56] But when it is grown. It is greater. Than the herbs. And becomes a tree. So that the birds of the air. Come and nest in its branches. It has all its. Implications. [28:07] And insights. But fundamentally. The Bible says. Is the least of all its seeds. It is believed that. We've discovered. Smallest seeds. But at that time. [28:18] The master's seed. Was the least of all its. Is the smallest. But why? Faithfulness requires. That you sow it anyway. Because in that small seed. Is a mighty tree. [28:30] Where even others. Can come. Birds of the air. Can come and find shelter in. So you don't say. This is not big enough. That's the problem. Of the man with one talent. Whatever is in your hands now. [28:42] Be faithful with it. Whatever. Is in your hands now. Be faithful with it. Don't wait to say. That when I become a leader. I will do ABC. Do it now. [28:54] Do it now. Whatever you claim. You can do. In the future. Prove it today. Not to any man. But to God. And let God see. The widow's might. [29:06] Also to teachers. Teach us. That. What meets the eye. Is not as important. As compared to the state of your heart. Yeah. God is interested in the state of your heart. [29:19] Jesus said. She's giving more. Than all of this. Why? It wasn't in the amount. But it was in what she'd given. [29:30] She'd given her all. She'd given her all. And it was a representation. Of her heart. Towards God. Was a representation. [29:41] Of her faith. In God. And therefore. Jesus said. She gave more than all the others. It matters. Sometimes. [29:52] You can't do as much. As others can do. God genuinely knows. Yes. So God. Definitely looks beyond the outward. He looks on the inside. But whatever you can do. Be faithful. [30:04] Be faithful. The quality of your heart. Is more important. Than the abundance of your hands. To the world. [30:17] What the woman gave was little. But to Jesus. She had given. Her all. Faithfulness is not measured. [30:28] By the size of the gift. But the sacrifice of the giver. Many of us will say. [30:38] God if you bless me. If you make me a millionaire. I will give you this. I will give you that. No God. You can't trick God. Yeah. Sometimes we think. [30:49] We can be smarter than God. You can't trick him. He knows that. That 10 pounds. You're struggling with. To give. It's a clear indication. But you. You can't give a thousand. [31:01] You can't give 10,000. Because 10 pounds. 10 pounds. Is so hard. To give. Because. The thing is. You look at what you have today. And say. Nah. I need to hold on to this. [31:13] And if you are like that. God says. I can't trust you. Faithfully and little. Faithfully and little. The Bible talks about. Faith as little. As a master's seed in Matthew chapter 17. [31:25] Say that small faith. Can move mountains. I remember. Years ago. We had a faith seminar. I know with the faith seminar. Now faith camp. The messages are very strong. [31:37] And we had. One pastor come. He's like. Because there was. The messages were strong. And he said. He's heard a lot. In this faith seminar. And he's very surprised. [31:49] The depths of the word. Because him. If he's been hearing. Messages like this. He believes that the things. He'll be doing for God. It will be amazing. Because he. He said. From where he's coming from. [32:00] As a pastor. He was. He's an external pastor. He preached on. Little faith. And he said. As far as he's concerned. Your faith doesn't even have to be big. For you to be able to move mountains. [32:11] Because according to scripture. That faith. As little as the master's seed. Has the ability in it. To move mountains. So he said to me. [32:22] I don't even need big faith. Because if I get big faith. My God. The responsibility. That counts with big faith. Small faith. I'll use it to be moving mountains. [32:34] Small faith. That day. I felt my. His best I babbled too much. Because the word was wrong. But he said. You don't even need to hear all of this. If you can only apply your small faith. [32:48] Just be busy applying your small faith. It will result to big results. Big testimonies. Big things. Mountain moving testimonies. [33:01] So for those of us who are in this church. Hearing message. Strong message upon message. Strong message. You know words. Theological words. That people have to go to Bible school. [33:13] To hear. You don't know what is being heaped on your head. Yeah. You don't understand what is happening. Much has been given. You should get little. [33:24] But you are getting much. Oh. Much is required. Much is required. So I always say. When you hear the word. It is not for you to puff up. It is to build you up for purpose. [33:37] Yeah. So guard your faith. Feel free to grow your faith. But in the meantime. Use the little faith. Use the little faith. [33:50] It has in it. The ability to move mountains. We all know the story of George Muller. He was taking care of children. Homeless children. One morning. They had no food. And you are not talking about just. [34:00] Ten children. Or five children. Hundreds of children. They had no food. Got the children to sit down as normal. No shaking. Sat down. And he had no clue. [34:11] Where the food was coming from. But they only prayed. And they blessed their food. And there is no bread. There is no milk. [34:21] No longer after they hear. Knock on their door. It is just a little sign. You could have said children. Go and play. But I said sit down as normal. God will provide. Say your grace as normal. [34:33] And there is still nothing in the plate. So they hear and knock. He said the baker comes. He said. I didn't sleep all night. God disturbed me all night. I woke up earlier than I would normally do. [34:46] To bake twice what I normally bake. So that this bread can be brought to you. You know. Before he told the children to sit down. God had already provided. Now he had to take a step. [34:59] For God to confirm it. By bringing. The baker bringing it. Not long after. Another knock. The milkman said. My van has broken down. It would be such a waste. [35:11] For this milk to go off. Say to bring it. You can have it. We know you have children here. God provided you a breakfast. It didn't take much. [35:22] Sit down. Let's pray. As usual. That was enough. For God to show up. We make faith a very complicated thing. It's not. Believe what God has said. [35:35] And act on it. That's it. Yeah. You are free to declare it. You are free to pray it. Do all of that. But act on it. Because in your action. [35:46] You are saying. I trust you God. You back me on this. I trust what you have said. I act on it. So faith. As little as. A master said. Will move mountains. [35:58] The next little thing. Is your tongue. James chapter 3. Verse 2 to 6. The Bible says. It's a tiny component. [36:10] Yet they determine the direction. Of your life. Just like a rudder. For a ship. And bits in the mouth of a horse. [36:21] You know. When you. When you at least. You don't have. Horse riding. Close to you. But. At least you've seen the. Police horses. So you know how massive horses are. [36:32] One thigh of a horse. My God. It's something else. If a horse kicks you. You have to believe God. Yeah. It can cause injury. It can cause injury. Serious injury. Yeah. [36:42] And. Uh. They said. But you don't need much. To control a horse. Just put bits in its mouth. Just tug on it. It will be. Mighty ship. [36:54] Recently. I saw how they launch new ships. Into the ocean. I said. Wow. When you see human beings. Human beings are like. Ants by the ship. Like these cargo ships. Massive. [37:05] Huge. Tall. Wow. But I said. Wow. The engineer who was able to say. Everything he said. We can launch it. He's a very bold person. Because when they launch it. [37:16] The whole thing. It hits the water like that. It's up to a shaking here and there. I'm like. Wow. That's amazing. God gave human beings. With intelligence. To be able to do this. [37:27] That's fantastic. The Bible says. Even so the tongue is a little member. Because you have. Other members. Big members. And the members boast of great things. Things that bring men and women down. [37:40] Yes. The boast of it. Me. I've got this. Me. I've got that. Yeah. The tongue is said. Among our members. That it defiles the whole body. [37:54] It's like a fire. A world of iniquity. And this thing. It's a world on its own. And it's not a. It's not a world of righteousness. [38:06] It's a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set. Among our members. That it defiles the whole body. And sets on fire. The course of nature. [38:17] And it is set on fire. By hell. So the devil likes. Employing your tongue. Likes employing your tongue. To cause havoc. [38:30] So the Bible says. Even though it's little. It can ruin things. What is it saying? Your mouth. Your words you say. [38:43] Has the ability. You see that a lot more. In people who have authority. Or influence. It happens so easily. Your manager said one thing to you. [38:54] You couldn't believe it. It was so broken. Sometimes even in church. Soryo. Could be a leader. Says something. And you couldn't believe it. It broke you. The tongue. [39:07] The use of the tongue. We all have to be. Faithful stewards. Of what we say. Because the Bible says. It can cause. Great havoc. [39:18] Set a forest on fire. Your words must be seasoned. Seasoned. Seasoned. How do you get your words seasoned? [39:29] Because you have the word of God. In your mouth. We can build each other up. Build each other up. Even when you have to correct it. There's a way you correct it. Somebody will gladly respond. [39:41] I'm not talking about that. She didn't be rebuke. There are times for rebuke. But if all your language. Every day. There's rebuke. People avoid you. Have you not realized? [39:52] Yeah. If every day. As for you. Every day. You have something to criticize. People avoid you. The Bible says. Your tongue. Watch it. It's a small part of your body. But oh. How destructive. [40:04] Is a misplaced word. Yeah. Some of you suffering. From aunties. Uncles. Parents. Even parents. Sometimes. Can be so harsh. [40:15] The next little thing. The Bible says. A little living. Living in the whole lump. Galatians chapter 6. Verse 9. Something small. Big impact. [40:27] It will live in the entire lump. A little living. And in living in the Bible. I'm sure God's even going to explain. Where living is. It's not necessarily a positive thing. [40:39] Because a small sin. You know. What you call a small sin. Has the ability. To affect your entire life. You've heard him say. Sin will hold you longer. [40:49] Than you intended to stay. You'll pay a price higher. Than you intended to pay. Sin. That's sin for you. So the Bible is saying. That if you play around it. [40:59] It will take over. When you put the yeast. In the bread. You'll probably have. Let's say. Five cups. Of flour. But you're going to use. [41:10] Only one teaspoon. Of yeast. Of leaven. And just. The interesting thing about leaven. Is it works quietly. You won't know it's working. You mix it. [41:21] And normally you cover it. If it's bread. You're baking. You leave it. You go about your life. By the time you come and lift the cloth. Oh. It has done it. It has had its effect. [41:32] The leaven has permeated. Everywhere. Penetrated. All aspects of the flour. Of the dough. Now the texture of the dough has changed. My God. What happened? [41:43] Leaven. Leaven entered. You introduced leaven. It has now changed the texture of the dough. Increased it. Not in necessarily a positive way. [41:57] So the Bible says that a little leaven. Leavens the entire lamp. If you don't deal with sin. It will deal with you. Yeah. Sin has stolen. [42:10] People's destinies. It may seem little. But it has strong effect. Strong effect. And the last one. [42:21] The little foxes. The little foxes. Song of songs. I'm going to say songs of Solomon. Chapter 2. Verse 15. No. [42:32] This one. The thing I find interesting is. It says. Catch the foxes. The little foxes that spoil the vines. For our vines have tender grapes. You see. This one is not like the one that doesn't have anything. [42:45] It says. It spoil the vine. For our vines have tender grapes. So this one is. It comes when there are signs of fruitfulness. So you are beginning to bear fruit. [43:01] They said. Watch out. For the little foxes. When you're beginning to bear fruit. You don't think. I have arrived yet. Some of the little foxes. [43:11] Easily. Pride. Pride. Losing your guard. Pride is one of the biggest reasons. [43:23] If God. Resists. The proud. And gives grace to the humble. But pride seems to come. When you begin to see fruits. Yeah. When you begin to see fruits. [43:35] It said. Our fruits. Our vines. Is filled with. Tender grapes. I mean. Is it ready to be plucked? It's nice. [43:46] It's a good time. It said. Watch out. For the little foxes. It said. Don't play. It didn't say. Play with the little foxes. It didn't say. Watch the little foxes. [43:57] It didn't say. You flee from the little foxes. There are some temptation. You have to flee. This one. It said. Catch them. Catch them. Catch them. [44:10] Deal with it. Meaning. Go after it. And deal with it. Some things. It's not. You pray for the help of the Holy Ghost. But act on it. Literally. [44:23] The Bible says. If your. Arm. Is going to. Cause you to sin. Cut it off. Yeah. That's how brutal it is. That's how God. Doesn't take. [44:33] Sin lightly. He said. If it's your arm. That's going to. Cause it. Cut it. Yeah. The sea. In the season. Of fruitfulness. There are little foxes. That come. He said. [44:45] Deal with them. Deal. With those little foxes. And so. In conclusion. Small things. Have big impact. [44:58] We've learned today. That. The million dollars. You want. God to give. For you. To show your. Generosity. Yes. [45:10] God is happy to do it. But he's looking at your 10 pounds. And he's in everything. He's in everything. God is looking at your faithfulness. [45:20] In the least. So that he can entrust much. In your hands. God is not looking for great people. He's already a great God. [45:31] He can make greatness out of you. God is not looking for giants. He's bigger than any giant. God is not looking for impressive people. You cannot impress him. [45:43] God is not even looking for orators. As preachers. No. He is the word of life. There's nothing that you can say. That will impress him so much. [45:53] He is. But he's looking for people. Who will be faithful. And starting from being faithful. In the least. [46:04] The Bible says. He will. Definitely. And trust. Much. In your hands. Let's pray. Father. [46:14] Father. We thank you for today. Thank you for your word. We are so grateful. That you teach us these principles. For life. And for ministry. [46:27] Thank you that you. This will remain with us. For the days of our lives. Whatever you entrust in our hands. Our commitment to you. That will be faithful. Grant us this grace. [46:38] And let it be our testimony. That as for us. We have been found faithful. All the days of our lives. Both in the least. And in the match. When you bring us to the place of the match. [46:50] Help us. To continue to be faithful. In Jesus name. Amen. Amen.
