This morning, we are concluding our four-part sermon series from the book of Acts. In the first three sermons, we considered how the church started and what church life looked like in the very early days. So far, what we have seen is that the early church in the book of Acts is a church without problems. But eventually, they face problems because in this fallen world the church will face problems and change. In this final message in the series we will look at three examples of how the early church dealt with problems and change and consider the lessons we can learn.

Third Message in a 4-Week Study in the Book of Acts

Today we continue with part three of our four-part sermon series on the church. In the first sermon, we considered how the church began in an upper room on the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out, a few days after Jesus ascended back to heaven. In the second sermon, we considered the first sermon preached in the early church and how people responded to that sermon. In this third sermon in the series, we will consider the corporate life of the early church, based on Luke’s description in Acts 2:42-47. Let’s open our hearts and hear and heed God’s word today.
