It’s rather a shame that we can so often spend our time arguing over matters that are peripheral to the text when its intent is to draw us into wonder and amazement at the God who created all that is. Moses is informing our minds so that God’s truth might stir our affections toward Him. Our study of Genesis 1 should always lead us to exclaim, “How great Thou art!”</p>
