In this Bible Study Audio Recording, Pastor Patrick continues his teaching on The Nature, Purpose and Power of Scripture.

We are continuing on The Nature and Description of the Scriptures by going over the Word being: Perfect, Sure, Living (Quick) and Active (Powerful).

In this recording, we will be going over the verses: Psalm 19:7-11, Hebrews 4:12, Proverbs 8:5 and Philemon 1:6.

In this study, we also go over the idea of the simple, the wise and the foolish from scripture.

Welcome to Ontario Community Church's Podcast recording of our Wednesday Night Bible Study on: The Word Being True

This is episode seven of: The Nature, Purpose, and Power of Scripture. This is part two of: The Nature and Description of the Scriptures

In this episode, we did a Bible study on the true and trustworthy Word of God.

We explored Psalm 119:160, John 17:17, and many other verses about Scripture being true, and sanctifying.

We learned about: The truth, the timelessness and the priority of scripture.

We also looked at the process of salvation and sanctification, making connections between justification by faith, being washed by Christ's blood, and the ongoing work of becoming holier.

My hope and prayer is that you believe in the Lord and grow in Him by studying God's enduring Word and be grounded in truth.

Join Pastor Patrick for an enriching, in-depth Bible study on The Origins of Scripture. Going through scriputre, we explore how God divinely inspired each writer of the Bible from the prophets to the Apostles.

We study how the Old Testament was penned through Moses and the prophets. Then we see how the New Testament was written by the apostles, and prophets - all carried along by the Holy Spirit. We even see how Christ is the Word. For Christ is the creator, redeemer, and sustainer. He also is the author.
