Following your feelings rather than trusting God leads to trouble in every part of life.

Each member of Isaac’s family made choices driven by feelings, schemes, or self-interest rather than God’s clear Word. Isaac relied on his senses, Rebekah turned to manipulation, Jacob embraced deception, and Esau sought blessing without repentance. Their choices fractured their home and revealed the cost of following desire over obedience.

In the midst of this we see the steady purpose of God, who fulfills His plan even when people fail. We each need to consider the consequences of our choices and the need to align our life with God’s will rather than impulses or circumstances.

Isaac faced famine, fear, and conflict, but God used those pressures to expose where he trusted his own plans instead of God’s promise.

Think about the “wells” in your life—your walk with God, your home, your church—and how sin, busyness, or neglect may have started to close them off. God cares more about your faithfulness than your comfort. Simple obedience and worship can speak loudly to the people around you.

Watch the full message to be encouraged to stay where God wants you, pick up the shovel again, and let Him grow you through the trials you face.

You’ll see that God’s providence reaches even into what feels small or insignificant, and that He’s never absent in your setbacks.

The same God who made iron swim still works in your life with purpose and precision. In Luke 8, a man possessed by many devils lived in isolation, tormented and out of control. No one could help him, but when he met Jesus, everything changed.

Christ didn’t avoid him—He confronted the darkness and set him free. The same Savior who calms the storm also restored this man’s life.

If sin has left you feeling broken and bound, you don’t have to stay that way.

The parable of the prodigal son is a powerful reminder that God is always ready to forgive and restore. The younger son chose rebellion, wasted everything, and hit rock bottom, but when he came to himself, he returned home to find a father running to meet him with open arms.

This isn’t a story of salvation but reconciliation, proving that no matter how far we wander, we can always return. We see that sin separates us, but repentance restores us.

The father’s love mirrors God’s grace. The father didn’t just take his son back—he gave him a robe, a ring, and shoes, signifying full restoration.

If you’ve drifted from God, He’s not waiting to punish you—He’s waiting to embrace you.
