James confronts that question with a simple truth: "Ye have not, because ye ask not." Prayer is more than a routine or a religious duty. It expresses faith, dependence, and a heart that seeks God's will instead of relying on personal strength. Scripture points to ordinary believers who prayed with confidence, trusted God's promises, and watched Him work in ways they could never accomplish on their own. The call remains the same today: ask, believe, and become the kind of person God can use as an intercessor for others.</p>
