Peter stepped out of the boat with his attention on Jesus, but fear took over when he turned his attention to the wind and waves.

The same account reminds us that Jesus saw the disciples struggling in the storm, even from a distance, and He came to them in their need. Trials can challenge our faith, but they do not change who God is or remove us from His care.

Instead of making decisions based on fear or circumstances, we need to keep our focus on the Lord, seek Him in prayer, and trust His direction.
