high priest. 00:07:54.539 --> 00:07:55.459 He's not a priest 00:07:55.459 --> 00:07:56.399 in the line of Levi, 00:07:57.120 --> 00:07:58.680 but he is a legitimate high priest 00:07:58.680 --> 00:08:00.139 because he was a different 00:08:00.139 --> 00:08:00.899 priestly order 00:08:00.899 --> 00:08:02.379 that is also designated by God, 00:08:02.439 --> 00:08:03.500 the order of Melchizedek. 00:08:05.299 --> 00:08:06.319 And the author of Hebrews 00:08:06.319 --> 00:08:07.560 showed us this was part 00:08:07.560 --> 00:08:08.620 of God's plan 00:08:08.620 --> 00:08:10.560 based on the Old Testament Scriptures. 00:08:10.560 --> 00:08:13.500 We've seen that Jesus 00:08:13.500 --> 00:08:14.160 is a perfect 00:08:14.160 --> 00:08:15.540 and a sinless high priest. 00:08:17.019 --> 00:08:18.060 He doesn't need to offer 00:08:18.060 --> 00:08:20.160 a sacrifice for his own sins, 00:08:20.500 --> 00:08:22.160 but instead he can offer himself 00:08:22.160 -->
