faith. 00:05:49.640 --> 00:05:53.080 Like, in my mind, I was on the right religious team, 00:05:53.220 --> 00:05:54.200 the winning team, 00:05:54.400 --> 00:05:55.660 and those other students, 00:05:56.000 --> 00:05:56.780 they weren't. 00:05:57.080 --> 00:06:00.060 Because they didn't go to my private Christian school. 00:06:00.060 --> 00:06:02.379 And that's what made me better than them. 00:06:02.660 --> 00:06:03.579 Me and my team, 00:06:03.680 --> 00:06:04.579 we believed the Bible. 00:06:05.199 --> 00:06:05.879 Me and my team, 00:06:05.959 --> 00:06:07.819 we worshipped the true wonder 00:06:58.279 --> 00:07:01.579 why so many people loathe Christians, right? 00:07:02.039 --> 00:07:03.099 For being so combative, 00:07:03.459 --> 00:07:04.079 so arrogant, 00:07:04.300 --> up of both Jewish 00:10:48.960 --> 00:10:50.840 and Greco-Roman converts. 00:10:51.519 --> 00:10:52.720 Converts that likely have 00:10:52.720 --> 00:10:54.279 tons of cultural baggage 00:10:54.279 --> 00:10:56.159 and tons of cultural biases 00:10:56.159 --> 00:10:57.339 making it hard for them 00:10:57.339 --> 00:10:58.740 to get along, right? 00:10:59.459 --> 00:11:00.339 So in this letter, 00:11:00.439 --> 00:11:01.319 Paul is explaining 00:11:01.319 --> 00:11:02.679 the gospel and its logic 00:11:02.679 --> 00:11:04.000 so that his Jewish 00:11:04.000 --> 00:11:04.919 and Gentile brothers 00:11:04.919 --> 00:11:06.059 and sisters in Rome 00:11:06.059 --> 00:11:07.240 will not only embrace 00:11:07.240 --> 00:11:08.059 one another, 00:11:08.500 --> 00:11:09.879 but also they'll embrace 00:11:09.879 --> 00:11:10.639 and support his 00:11:10.639 --> 00:11:11.819 missionary efforts 00:11:11.819 --> 00:11:13.620 westward towards Spain 00:11:13.620 --> 00:11:14.559 amongst people 00:11:14.559 --> 00:11:15.539 that even Jews 00:11:15.539 --> 00:11:16.819 and Greco-Roman people 00:11:16.819 --> 00:11:18.819 would consider as barbaric. 00:11:19.559 --> 00:11:20.480 And so we've been following 00:11:20.480 --> 00:11:21.740 Paul's careful argument 00:11:21.740 --> 00:11:23.360 about what the gospel is 00:11:23.360 --> 00:11:25.879 and also what the gospel does 00:11:25.879 -->
