00:01:05.159 --> 00:01:09.239 And sanctification, that's the principle I want to start with. 00:01:09.239 --> 00:01:20.979 And it is basically the once a person is justified and saved by grace, then for the rest of their life, 00:01:20.979 --> 00:01:28.640 they follow this process of growing to be more like Christ for the rest of their life. 00:01:29.099 --> 00:01:37.619 And that process is ongoing work of God in our lives with the goal of looking more like Jesus. 00:01:37.620 --> 00:01:40.120 That's basically sanctification. 00:01:41.120 --> 00:01:49.900 Now, sanctification is a cooperative work between God and us. 00:01:50.420 --> 00:01:56.020 So there are elements where we work together toward our sanctification. 00:01:57.159 --> 00:02:02.780 Primarily, though, the Lord passive role of trusting God and yielding to him, we become proud and overly confident in ourselves. 00:05:00.939 --> 00:05:05.659 In either case, our sanctification will be greatly deficient. through history, talking to believers, 00:10:14.200 --> 00:10:17.060 he doesn't assume that they've all been raised. 00:10:17.620 --> 00:10:21.220 Because we know certain things about the church even, 00:10:21.220 --> 00:10:27.320 that there are weeds and there are tares, doesn't there are wheat and tares, I'm sorry, 00:10:27.960 --> 00:10:29.860 weeds and good fruit. 00:10:30.779 --> 00:10:33.860
