nightmare, 00:06:42.219 --> 00:06:45.100 reoccurring dream that is so disturbing 00:06:45.100 --> 00:06:46.620 he cannot sleep anymore. 00:06:47.779 --> 00:06:50.139 And he begins to realize 00:07:42.839 he had conquered Judah, Phoenicia, 00:07:43.439 --> 00:07:44.839 and what is today Syria. 00:07:45.620 --> 00:07:47.219 After conquering all these lands, 00:07:47.459 --> 00:07:50.699 he was going to build a peaceful kingdom. 00:07:51.060 --> 00:07:53.120 He was a very skilled and gifted ruler 00:07:53.120 --> 00:07:53.799 and administrator. 00:07:54.120 --> 00:07:57.120 And so he was able to bring peace to that region. 00:07:57.120 --> 00:07:59.240 And then he wanted to make something beautiful. 00:07:59.459 --> 00:08:04.300 So he began these massive things that were glorious. 00:08:04.500 --> 00:08:05.959 One of the things that he built, 00:08:06.379 --> 00:08:07.319 I've heard of, 00:08:07.360 --> 00:08:09.600 it was one of the seven of the world, 00:08:09.699 --> 00:08:11.259 the hanging gardens of Babylon. 00:08:11.939 --> 00:08:16.699 So here's a man who's built these beautiful kingdoms, 00:08:17.459 --> 00:08:20.000 laboring to establish this glory 00:08:20.000 --> 00:08:21.780 so that his name would live forever. 00:08:22.360 --> 00:08:24.879 He has this disturbing dream that he cannot sleep. 00:08:25.259 --> 00:08:26.780 So he calls together his wise men, 00:08:26.779 --> 00:08:28.419 the enchanters, 00:08:28.719 --> 00:08:30.500 the stargazers, 00:08:30.619 --> 00:08:31.119 the sauvres, 00:08:32.120 --> 00:08:34.539 promises them that he will make them 00:08:34.539 --> 00:08:37.019 imaginations. 00:08:40.620 --> 00:08:42.620 Well, King, tell us the dream. 00:08:42.699 --> 00:08:43.839 And he says, not so fast. 00:08:44.279 --> 00:08:46.139 I want you to tell me both the dream 00:08:46.139 --> 00:08:47.559 and the interpretation. 00:08:48.559 --> 00:08:49.980 They said, no, tell us the dream 00:08:49.980 --> 00:08:51.179 and assumes 00:09:47.480 --> 00:09:50.399 that they have the vantage point of the future 00:09:50.399 --> 00:09:51.779 and can look back at us 00:09:51.779 --> 00:09:54.199 and see how history is going to
