Keeping People Safe, really meant. 00:06:58.399 --> 00:07:03.719 James tells us it is the same with Christians. 00:07:04.359 --> 00:07:08.039 What good is our faith if we do not have works? 00:07:09.199 --> 00:07:12.159 Let's turn back to James 2, 14 to 26. 00:07:14.159 --> 00:07:17.439 In this section, James answers the question, 00:07:18.139 --> 00:07:19.959 What does saving faith look like? 00:07:19.959 --> 00:07:28.939 He does this by arguing that faith without works is dead and does not justify the person who claims to have it. 00:07:29.939 --> 00:07:36.279 We might say then that faith without works is not faith at all because it is not saving faith. 00:07:36.279 --> 00:07:40.799 In answering the question of what saving faith looks like, 00:07:41.239 --> 00:07:43.319 James begins by posing the question, 00:07:44.219 --> 00:07:48.299 What good is a claim to have faith which does not produce deeds? 00:07:48.979 --> 00:07:51.659 From verse 20, he turns to consider the comparison to hospitality. 00:08:41.519 --> 00:08:45.480 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 00:08:45.820 --> 00:08:47.240 If one of you says to him, 00:08:47.700 -->
