00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:28.260
 So if I were to go around the room and ask each of you, what is the gospel? Or what is John's gospel all about? How would you summarize it? Each of you would probably give me some slight variant on some different themes. One of those themes and one of the key themes that we see throughout John's gospel is the love of God for his people and the love of God's people for him.

00:00:28.260 --> 00:00:58.240
 When John starts off his gospel, he presents in chapter one an incredible thesis statement, if you will, of what the gospel is. And he presents it as the creator God taking on our flesh because of his great love for us and coming and dwelling amongst us and laying down his life for us so that we can once again be brought into the love of God and have a relationship with this gospel.

00:00:58.259 --> 00:01:12.799
 And as John approaches the end of his gospel, as we get to these last 10 verses, we see this thesis played out in the relationship that Jesus has with two of these disciples.

00:01:12.799 --> 00:01:30.539
 So as John here is, if you will, tying up loose ends, we see his thesis playing out in two very real lives, two men that Jesus knew intimately and knew well. He answers the question that should be on our minds from even just a few weeks ago.

00:01:30.540 --> 00:01:39.960
 The last time I spoke to start off the series, I spoke on the passages where Peter denies Jesus.

00:01:40.880 --> 00:01:46.620
 And so now John loops back around and answers the question, well, what about Peter?

00:01:47.460 --> 00:01:49.560
 What is Peter's status now?

00:01:50.320 --> 00:01:55.960
 He's denied Christ not once, not twice, but three times.

00:01:55.959 --> 00:01:58.279
 So what's next for Peter?

00:01:59.879 --> 00:02:10.240
 And I think it's an interesting and it's an important question for us, because I think when you think about relationships in our modern world, how many of us would go, oh, that's it.

00:02:10.939 --> 00:02:12.560
 And we would write that person off.

00:02:13.180 --> 00:02:15.560
 And we live in a society of broken relationships.

00:02:15.680 --> 00:02:17.159
 We'll talk about that more in a minute.

00:02:17.159 --> 00:02:39.699
 But what John is emphasizing here in this passage, in the relationship with Peter and in his own relationship to Christ, is that the heart of the gospel and the calling of the gospel is for God's people to love Christ and to follow him.

00:02:40.560 --> 00:02:42.199
 So what about Peter?

00:02:42.199 --> 00:02:55.500
 Peter, when after his denial and after the death of Jesus and the resurrection, we see him last week when Cephas spoke on the earlier verses of this passage.

00:02:55.859 --> 00:02:56.500
 What's Peter do?

00:02:56.579 --> 00:03:01.659
 He goes back to fishing and he does kind of a rubbish job of it.

00:03:02.060 --> 00:03:04.620
 He stays out all night with his friends.

00:03:04.919 --> 00:03:05.719
 They catch nothing.

00:03:06.179 --> 00:03:06.899
 And then what happens?

00:03:07.060 --> 00:03:08.699
 Well, Jesus shows up.

00:03:09.399 --> 00:03:12.120
 And when Jesus shows up, it changes everything.

00:03:12.199 --> 00:03:15.799
 Just cast your nets on the other side of the boat.

00:03:15.899 --> 00:03:16.579
 What's the big deal?

00:03:16.699 --> 00:03:21.339
 And then they bring in such a catch that they were in danger of breaking their nets.

00:03:21.599 --> 00:03:24.139
 Well, then they sit down and they dine with Jesus.

00:03:24.839 --> 00:03:30.639
 One of the most human things that a risen Savior could do with his followers.

00:03:31.159 --> 00:03:32.739
 It's something that's incredibly intimate.

00:03:32.899 --> 00:03:35.280
 He sits down and he dines with them.

00:03:35.599 --> 00:03:37.339
 He's not some mere phantom.

00:03:37.519 --> 00:03:42.099
 This isn't a ghost that's kind of just magically shown up.

00:03:42.199 --> 00:03:46.679
 But this is a real person who eats and drinks and dines.

00:03:47.679 --> 00:04:00.799
 But we also see a Jesus in our passage today who actually loves and cares for his disciples, for his people in an incredible way, in an erratic way.

00:04:00.800 --> 00:04:04.920
 Peter has denied Jesus.

00:04:05.400 --> 00:04:09.200
 But when Jesus shows up, he reinstates Peter.

00:04:09.840 --> 00:04:11.520
 And he gives him a calling.

00:04:12.360 --> 00:04:21.000
 And we see this in this exchange that Peter and Jesus have here, where Jesus asks them what seems to be a very simple question.

00:04:21.000 --> 00:04:24.319
 Peter, do you love me?

00:04:25.600 --> 00:04:34.000
 Now, if you're a young man dating a young woman, that can be kind of a tricky question to answer, isn't it?

00:04:35.319 --> 00:04:36.839
 Do you love me?

00:04:37.779 --> 00:04:40.379
 You sometimes want to push that off.

00:04:40.379 --> 00:04:42.459
 But Jesus asks him this question very directly.

00:04:42.639 --> 00:04:44.420
 And it can be a bit of an awkward question, can't it?

00:04:44.659 --> 00:04:46.459
 Given all the history that's already happened.

00:04:46.860 --> 00:04:47.899
 Given his denial.

00:04:48.300 --> 00:04:50.540
 Given his boast that, you know what?

00:04:50.680 --> 00:04:56.360
 If all these other men were to abandon you, I would still stand by you, Jesus.

00:04:56.959 --> 00:04:59.939
 Because I'm just, you know, I'm that great of a guy.

00:05:00.360 --> 00:05:01.759
 I'm that brave of a guy.

00:05:02.219 --> 00:05:05.100
 And I care about you enough that I would stick by you.

00:05:05.100 --> 00:05:08.500
 And the first thing he does, when asked, hey, do you know this man?

00:05:08.860 --> 00:05:10.140
 Jesus, you're one of his followers.

00:05:10.879 --> 00:05:12.600
 No, I never knew him.

00:05:13.140 --> 00:05:13.820
 No, I'm sure.

00:05:13.900 --> 00:05:15.420
 I'm sure I saw you with him, didn't I?

00:05:15.540 --> 00:05:16.520
 No, I'm telling you.

00:05:16.640 --> 00:05:17.820
 I never knew the man.

00:05:18.480 --> 00:05:20.820
 And then a third time, no, I don't know the man.

00:05:21.480 --> 00:05:22.840
 I'm not one of his followers.

00:05:24.280 --> 00:05:30.600
 Very quickly, the bravado of Peter dissipated.

00:05:30.600 --> 00:05:37.140
 And so Jesus asks him this, what is seemingly a very simple but very important question.

00:05:37.680 --> 00:05:38.900
 Peter, do you love me?

00:05:39.720 --> 00:05:44.700
 And the first time he asks, it's, do you love me, what, more than these?

00:05:45.439 --> 00:05:46.820
 Referring to the other disciples.

00:05:47.060 --> 00:05:49.120
 Do you love me more than these other men?

00:05:50.000 --> 00:05:55.420
 A reference back to Peter's bravado in his sense of, even if all these men abandon you, I will stand by you.

00:05:55.420 --> 00:06:01.000
 And Jesus asked this question, or some variant of this question, three times.

00:06:01.680 --> 00:06:04.439
 Harkening back to the threefold denial.

00:06:05.980 --> 00:06:08.060
 And it's a remarkable question.

00:06:09.180 --> 00:06:13.800
 Because it's remarkable for just the simplicity of it, isn't it?

00:06:14.200 --> 00:06:16.259
 It really cuts to the heart of the matter.

00:06:16.960 --> 00:06:20.200
 It's not, Peter, do you believe in me?

00:06:20.980 --> 00:06:22.840
 Peter, do you have faith in me?

00:06:22.840 --> 00:06:24.680
 How strong is your faith?

00:06:25.420 --> 00:06:29.680
 Peter, do you feel that I can save you from your sins?

00:06:29.920 --> 00:06:32.120
 It's not that question, is it?

00:06:32.840 --> 00:06:33.980
 It's a simple question.

00:06:34.560 --> 00:06:36.460
 Peter, do you love me?

00:06:37.160 --> 00:06:40.080
 Do you have affections for me?

00:06:41.280 --> 00:06:43.780
 Love is a tricky term, isn't it?

00:06:44.280 --> 00:06:48.080
 It can be difficult for us to define exactly what it is.

00:06:48.600 --> 00:06:52.160
 Some days we can feel like we really passionately love someone.

00:06:52.160 --> 00:06:57.400
 And on other days, we maybe feel less of a passion after we've had an argument or a fight.

00:06:58.340 --> 00:07:00.740
 It's just the nature of life, isn't it?

00:07:02.060 --> 00:07:07.100
 But what Jesus is getting at is, do you actually love me enough?

00:07:07.500 --> 00:07:12.420
 Do you define your life through me?

00:07:12.420 --> 00:07:17.060
 And that's actually one of the themes of John's gospel.

00:07:17.060 --> 00:07:32.060
 Is that if we love Christ, if we put our faith in him, then our life and our identity reorients around Jesus as a central person and central aspect of our lives.

00:07:32.060 --> 00:07:45.560
 And so these questions, repeated three times, just like Peter's denial, required Peter not to just simply give a straightforward answer, did it?

00:07:46.100 --> 00:07:50.120
 It actually required, I think, a good bit of self-reflection on Peter's part.

00:07:50.120 --> 00:07:54.879
 What Jesus is doing with Peter is he's actually shepherding Peter along.

00:07:55.300 --> 00:07:57.379
 He's showing him his wrong.

00:07:57.620 --> 00:07:59.019
 He's showing him his sin.

00:08:00.340 --> 00:08:02.120
 And he's calling him back.

00:08:03.199 --> 00:08:04.480
 Peter, do you love me?

00:08:05.620 --> 00:08:07.600
 And Peter responds with what?

00:08:09.160 --> 00:08:10.340
 Simple humility.

00:08:10.339 --> 00:08:16.159
 When Jesus asked him, do you love me more than these other disciples?

00:08:16.759 --> 00:08:20.560
 His response wasn't, yes, of course, I love you more than those guys.

00:08:21.560 --> 00:08:22.639
 But it was what?

00:08:22.899 --> 00:08:26.839
 Simply, yes, Lord, you know that I love you.

00:08:27.979 --> 00:08:30.939
 And when he asked the second time, it's the same answer.

00:08:31.719 --> 00:08:37.259
 And when he asked the third time, Peter is broken by the question.

00:08:37.259 --> 00:08:44.939
 And he actually responds by appealing to the divinity of Christ, doesn't he?

00:08:45.919 --> 00:08:47.899
 Lord, you know all things.

00:08:49.000 --> 00:08:52.059
 You know that I love you.

00:08:53.980 --> 00:08:57.159
 And Jesus' response is very simple.

00:08:58.080 --> 00:08:59.500
 Then feed my sheep.

00:08:59.500 --> 00:09:09.759
 See, what Jesus is asking of Peter, what Jesus is showing Peter,

00:09:10.480 --> 00:09:15.080
 is a grace that actually heals broken relationships.

00:09:15.940 --> 00:09:19.299
 It's a grace that actually heals Peter's brokenness.

00:09:19.620 --> 00:09:22.580
 Why do you think Peter was out fishing with his friends?

00:09:23.059 --> 00:09:24.539
 Well, because he didn't know what else to do.

00:09:24.539 --> 00:09:32.099
 So he went back to a previous life, to what he had always just sort of naturally done.

00:09:33.059 --> 00:09:39.299
 And what Jesus is coming to him and doing is he's calling him back out once again to be his disciple.

00:09:39.980 --> 00:09:46.120
 He's healing this relationship after an act of what Peter probably felt was unforgivable.

00:09:47.459 --> 00:09:48.579
 Jesus calls him out of that.

00:09:48.580 --> 00:09:54.220
 And he gives him a new calling to feed his sheep, to establish his church.

00:09:55.400 --> 00:09:58.920
 And I think this leads us to the natural question for us.

00:10:01.460 --> 00:10:07.139
 What actions against you are unforgivable?

00:10:08.280 --> 00:10:12.840
 If we were to put ourselves in the position of Christ and Peter,

00:10:13.340 --> 00:10:17.620
 what things have you done that you feel are unforgivable?

00:10:18.580 --> 00:10:22.080
 See, we've all in some way denied Jesus, haven't we?

00:10:23.860 --> 00:10:32.280
 We're born in sin.

00:10:32.400 --> 00:10:35.020
 We're born denying Jesus.

00:10:36.420 --> 00:10:40.040
 What things have you done that you feel are unforgivable?

00:10:40.860 --> 00:10:43.020
 Well, Jesus comes and asks this simple question.

00:10:43.540 --> 00:10:44.379
 Do you love me?

00:10:45.660 --> 00:10:48.440
 He doesn't ask, how strongly do you believe?

00:10:49.200 --> 00:10:55.120
 He doesn't ask, how strong is your faith?

00:10:55.800 --> 00:10:57.440
 He simply asks you this question.

00:10:58.280 --> 00:11:00.360
 Do you believe in me?

00:11:01.379 --> 00:11:03.300
 Or do you love me?

00:11:04.200 --> 00:11:10.940
 See, Jesus' forgiveness of Peter isn't simply some kind of model of forgiveness for us to follow.

00:11:11.480 --> 00:11:13.920
 The message of the gospel is not, look at Jesus.

00:11:14.140 --> 00:11:15.520
 He was such a forgiving guy.

00:11:15.519 --> 00:11:18.480
 Maybe you could go and forgive some people too, maybe.

00:11:19.399 --> 00:11:21.299
 That's not what the gospel is.

00:11:22.079 --> 00:11:28.600
 It's not some template for living a better life and just being better people and good people.

00:11:28.600 --> 00:11:32.180
 But it's the power for us to forgive.

00:11:32.180 --> 00:11:38.980
 It's the calling for us to reorient our lives around the person and work of Jesus Christ.

00:11:38.980 --> 00:11:45.039
 And what we end up with with Peter is this calling that Jesus gives him.

00:11:45.120 --> 00:11:50.920
 He says, he tells him three times, care for, tend, feed my sheep.

00:11:50.919 --> 00:12:00.539
 And the calling that Peter is given, we see it towards the end here, is a calling that will carry him to his death.

00:12:02.379 --> 00:12:06.240
 Peter does this because of who he is in Christ.

00:12:06.240 --> 00:12:12.659
 He's no longer simply Peter, the fisherman, but he is Christ's man.

00:12:13.659 --> 00:12:24.039
 He is one who's been saved through the grace of Jesus and has been called to be an under shepherd, to feed and tend Jesus' sheep.

00:12:24.180 --> 00:12:25.639
 What does that mean?

00:12:25.639 --> 00:12:33.480
 What we see later in Peter's life, in the book of Acts, which is the book right after this one in your Bibles,

00:12:34.120 --> 00:12:40.679
 is the ongoing ministry of Christ through his Holy Spirit in the establishing of his church.

00:12:41.220 --> 00:12:43.960
 And Peter plays an important role and a key role in it.

00:12:44.919 --> 00:12:53.080
 As the gospel goes forth, we see Peter going out and sharing the gospel and seeing it spread throughout the world.

00:12:53.080 --> 00:13:00.700
 And the result of this, the tradition holds, is that in the end, Peter was crucified.

00:13:01.620 --> 00:13:06.040
 Tradition says, crucified upside down, in or around Rome.

00:13:07.840 --> 00:13:13.820
 And John actually points to this in the conversation that Jesus and Peter has.

00:13:13.900 --> 00:13:19.040
 He says in verse 19, this is to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.

00:13:19.039 --> 00:13:24.339
 So Jesus is calling him out of his sin, out of his denial.

00:13:25.059 --> 00:13:29.639
 He's showing him grace and love and mercy.

00:13:30.120 --> 00:13:34.799
 And then he's calling him to go out and share the gospel to the point of death.

00:13:36.699 --> 00:13:40.939
 See, Jesus' love for Peter was what really saved Peter.

00:13:41.679 --> 00:13:46.120
 Jesus' love for Peter is what called Peter to a right relationship with him.

00:13:46.120 --> 00:13:47.399
 So that's Peter.

00:13:47.500 --> 00:13:49.139
 What about John?

00:13:49.820 --> 00:13:55.399
 We see in verses 20-25, John actually referring to himself.

00:13:55.560 --> 00:14:01.019
 Peter turns and he sees in verse 20, the disciple whom Jesus loved following them.

00:14:01.620 --> 00:14:04.620
 And that's an interesting way of referring to himself, isn't it?

00:14:04.639 --> 00:14:06.340
 We see that throughout John's gospel.

00:14:07.740 --> 00:14:11.879
 Him calling himself simply the disciple whom Jesus loved.

00:14:12.220 --> 00:14:13.960
 Rather than just saying me or I.

00:14:13.960 --> 00:14:18.920
 And it's probably for modern years it sounds kind of odd.

00:14:19.000 --> 00:14:21.120
 We might be going, well, what's John saying there?

00:14:21.600 --> 00:14:25.440
 Is John saying, well, I'm the disciple that Jesus loved.

00:14:26.060 --> 00:14:29.580
 Jesus really loved me in a special and unique way.

00:14:29.960 --> 00:14:31.759
 That's not actually what he's saying.

00:14:32.120 --> 00:14:34.160
 It's not a title of pride.

00:14:34.400 --> 00:14:35.820
 But it's one of humility.

00:14:35.940 --> 00:14:42.460
 John no longer identifies himself in relationship to who he believes himself to be.

00:14:42.460 --> 00:14:47.400
 But he defines himself in relationship to Christ.

00:14:48.940 --> 00:14:51.220
 I'm no longer John.

00:14:51.460 --> 00:14:54.879
 I'm one who's been loved by Jesus.

00:14:55.580 --> 00:14:58.200
 I'm a man who Jesus loved.

00:14:58.200 --> 00:15:08.140
 See, identity has become a central and polarizing aspect of our society.

00:15:08.700 --> 00:15:13.620
 And what we see in the gospel is identity is actually something very important.

00:15:13.620 --> 00:15:21.360
 But what we see in political debate today, how do we identify ourselves?

00:15:21.460 --> 00:15:24.600
 In political debate, are you labor or conservative?

00:15:25.220 --> 00:15:26.320
 Thankfully, I'm American.

00:15:26.500 --> 00:15:27.419
 I don't have to be either.

00:15:28.519 --> 00:15:31.000
 Or we see it in the gender debate.

00:15:31.740 --> 00:15:39.080
 Does one have the right to choose their gender based on who they feel that they are?

00:15:39.080 --> 00:15:42.740
 We see it in all kinds of ways.

00:15:44.000 --> 00:15:47.000
 Even teenagers struggle with this.

00:15:47.060 --> 00:15:49.680
 Which crowd are you going to run with in school?

00:15:50.379 --> 00:15:56.940
 I don't know if you have these same categories here, but in the States it's, are you an athlete?

00:15:57.600 --> 00:15:58.560
 Or are you a nerd?

00:15:58.559 --> 00:16:03.479
 We all sort of create this persona and this identity.

00:16:04.719 --> 00:16:13.339
 And the message of the gospel is that there's actually no satisfaction or peace or value in any of our self-identification.

00:16:14.659 --> 00:16:18.459
 It's only if we are identifying ourselves in relation to Christ.

00:16:18.879 --> 00:16:21.759
 And John shows us an example of that in himself.

00:16:21.759 --> 00:16:30.939
 He's no longer referring to himself as me or I or as John, but simply as the disciple who Jesus loved.

00:16:32.700 --> 00:16:38.539
 And what we see in John's calling, John's also given a calling, isn't he?

00:16:39.240 --> 00:16:47.059
 Peter sees John and the reason why he refers to John, I think, is because they were good friends and he was concerned for his friend.

00:16:47.059 --> 00:16:51.200
 And so he says, well, you're calling me to go out and be a martyr.

00:16:51.200 --> 00:16:52.480
 But what about this man?

00:16:53.040 --> 00:16:54.879
 What are you calling him to do?

00:16:55.660 --> 00:17:00.740
 And Jesus' response is simply for him to say, that doesn't concern you.

00:17:01.640 --> 00:17:04.420
 That's not any of your business.

00:17:04.980 --> 00:17:06.860
 What my plans are for him.

00:17:07.400 --> 00:17:08.279
 You follow me.

00:17:09.319 --> 00:17:14.400
 And it's easy for us to look at others, even people we care about, and say, well, Jesus, what's your plan for them?

00:17:14.779 --> 00:17:17.840
 What about my son and daughters?

00:17:18.460 --> 00:17:19.819
 What about my wife?

00:17:19.819 --> 00:17:22.819
 What about my parents?

00:17:23.379 --> 00:17:26.359
 What about my friends, these other people that I care for?

00:17:28.079 --> 00:17:37.099
 And Jesus' answer is, to us, is, what does it matter what my plans are for them?

00:17:37.839 --> 00:17:40.319
 You follow me.

00:17:40.319 --> 00:17:44.460
 See, John's calling is not necessarily to be martyred.

00:17:45.419 --> 00:17:50.059
 But his calling is to feed Christ's sheep, but in a different way.

00:17:51.720 --> 00:17:54.839
 We see him feeding the sheep in the writing of this gospel.

00:17:55.779 --> 00:18:00.379
 We see him feeding ourselves even today through this same gospel.

00:18:00.380 --> 00:18:06.680
 I don't know about you, but I much prefer John's calling to Peter's on most days.

00:18:06.980 --> 00:18:09.100
 You know, I want to retire someday.

00:18:09.260 --> 00:18:10.160
 I don't want to die.

00:18:10.260 --> 00:18:15.080
 And I want to die in a warm bed, not the way Peter died.

00:18:15.340 --> 00:18:16.780
 But that's not our choice, is it?

00:18:16.779 --> 00:18:23.700
 And it's not if we're truly willing to say to Jesus, yes, Lord, you know that I love you.

00:18:24.420 --> 00:18:27.480
 Then his response to us simply is, follow me.

00:18:28.460 --> 00:18:32.240
 See, the message of the gospel and the conclusion of John's gospel is,

00:18:32.240 --> 00:18:38.120
 true life really begins when one defines their life in relation to Christ.

00:18:39.019 --> 00:18:43.240
 This is the sum of the message of John's gospel and really the entire Bible.

00:18:44.319 --> 00:18:48.859
 And I think one of the interesting things about John's gospel is that in a sense,

00:18:48.940 --> 00:18:52.539
 he indirectly writes each of us into it.

00:18:52.900 --> 00:18:55.420
 In the very last verse, he says,

00:18:55.420 --> 00:19:00.740
 Now there are also many other things that Jesus did.

00:19:01.560 --> 00:19:02.880
 Were every one of them to be written,

00:19:02.980 --> 00:19:07.120
 I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

00:19:07.720 --> 00:19:10.740
 And this echoes back to chapter 20, verses 30 and 31,

00:19:10.920 --> 00:19:14.100
 that Stuart preached on just a couple of weeks ago.

00:19:14.440 --> 00:19:17.080
 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples,

00:19:17.400 --> 00:19:18.900
 which are not written in this book.

00:19:19.160 --> 00:19:21.779
 But these are written so that you may believe

00:19:21.779 --> 00:19:24.859
 that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,

00:19:25.319 --> 00:19:29.139
 and that by believing you may have life in his name.

00:19:30.139 --> 00:19:36.480
 See, John refers back to this same idea of all the things that Christ has done.

00:19:37.299 --> 00:19:39.059
 The world couldn't contain them.

00:19:40.279 --> 00:19:42.460
 But these are written, this gospel is here,

00:19:42.899 --> 00:19:46.599
 so that you might know Jesus intimately.

00:19:47.079 --> 00:19:49.379
 So that you might know Jesus for yourself.

00:19:49.380 --> 00:19:51.860
 So that when Jesus asks you,

00:19:52.400 --> 00:19:53.320
 Do you love me?

00:19:54.560 --> 00:19:56.380
 You know the answer is,

00:19:56.540 --> 00:19:57.120
 Yes, Lord.

00:19:57.680 --> 00:19:58.880
 You know that I love you.

00:20:01.040 --> 00:20:04.600
 See, he indirectly writes us into his gospel.

00:20:05.360 --> 00:20:08.620
 In the sense that this was written so that you would know,

00:20:08.720 --> 00:20:09.560
 that you would hear,

00:20:09.940 --> 00:20:10.880
 and that you would believe.

00:20:11.620 --> 00:20:15.240
 It's where Peter ended up in his answering of Jesus' question.

00:20:15.860 --> 00:20:18.840
 It's how John named himself throughout the gospels.

00:20:20.380 --> 00:20:22.260
 And the calling of the gospel

00:20:22.260 --> 00:20:24.560
 is for us to reorient

00:20:24.560 --> 00:20:28.240
 our lives around Jesus Christ.

00:20:29.600 --> 00:20:31.380
 And so Jesus leaves us really

00:20:31.380 --> 00:20:33.900
 with the same questions that he left Peter with.

00:20:34.780 --> 00:20:36.220
 He's asking you today,

00:20:36.740 --> 00:20:38.640
 Do you love me?

00:20:39.600 --> 00:20:42.380
 And the question that we have for us

00:20:42.380 --> 00:20:44.160
 is how do we answer that?

00:20:44.940 --> 00:20:45.720
 Please pray with me.

00:20:45.720 --> 00:20:46.720
 Do you think that Peter died?

00:20:46.720 --> 00:20:47.220
 Do you think that Peter died?

00:20:47.220 --> 00:20:47.839
 Do you think that Peter died?

00:20:47.839 --> 00:20:47.839

00:20:47.839 --> 00:20:48.680
 Do you think that Peter died?

00:20:48.680 --> 00:20:48.960
 Do you think that Peter died?

00:20:48.960 --> 00:20:50.019
 Do you think that Peter died?

00:20:50.019 --> 00:20:50.640
 Do you think Peter died?

00:20:50.640 --> 00:20:50.640

00:20:50.640 --> 00:20:51.380
 Do you think Peter died?

00:20:51.380 --> 00:20:51.799
 Do you think Peter died?

00:20:51.799 --> 00:20:52.339
 Do you think Peter died?

00:20:52.339 --> 00:20:52.339

00:20:52.339 --> 00:20:53.740
 Do you think Peter died died?

00:20:53.740 --> 00:20:54.819
 Do you think Peter died died?

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819

00:20:54.819 --> 00:20:54.819
