00:28:51.619 --> 00:28:52.919 And then in John, 00:28:53.319 --> 00:28:55.439 the opening chapter of John's Gospel, 00:28:55.579 --> 00:28:57.259 we looked at John the Baptist saying, 00:28:57.259 --> 00:29:02.220 Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. 00:29:02.940 --> 00:29:06.019 We saw the Lamb was promised and the Lamb came. 00:29:06.819 --> 00:29:10.539 Then this morning we're reflecting on the Lamb who was punished. 00:29:11.579 --> 00:29:14.079 As we looked at Isaiah chapter 53, 00:29:14.220 --> 00:29:18.500 again it was in that light of the promise of the Lamb of God who would come. 00:29:18.500 --> 00:29:21.480 But then we were seeing how he would be punished, 00:29:21.599 --> 00:29:23.660 how by his stripes he would be healed. 00:29:24.200 --> 00:29:26.420 00:29:33.900 The Lamb of God punished. 00:29:35.039 --> 00:29:39.240 Well this evening I want us to think about the Lamb of God once again. 00:29:40.079 --> 00:29:43.799 And we're thinking this 00:31:10.220 --> 00:31:17.920 And what we've come to see this evening now is that all that is still to come 00:31:17.920 --> 00:31:21.140 is in God's perfect timing. 00:31:22.500 --> 00:31:25.819 Revelation, the book of Revelation as a whole, 00:31:26.000 --> 00:31:29.960 is full of references to the Lamb of God. 00:31:29.960 --> 00:31:32.380 From chapter 5 through to the end, 00:31:32.819 --> 00:31:37.660 you find the Lamb of God is mentioned again and again. 00:31:37.660 --> 00:31:44.060 In chapter 5, it begins by speaking about the scrolls that were to be opened 00:31:44.060 --> 00:31:50.740 to break the seven seals as it speaks of in verse 1 of chapter 5. 00:31:51.779 --> 00:31:55.560 And who is able to open it is the question. 00:31:56.480 --> 00:31:58.480 Well, we find the answer again in verse 6. 00:31:58.480 --> 00:32:10.460 The Lamb was the one who was able to open. 00:32:10.460 --> 00:32:14.079 And the Lamb, as you see then from chapter 5 through to the end of the
