I didn't go into that particular or any casino that day. But it struck me because that is in many ways in a nutshell the lesson that we see in the life of big King Nebuchadnezzar. 00:01:20.739 --> 00:01:30.539 Act in haste, repent at leisure. 00:04:57.779 But here, it's almost as if there's an interlude where King Nebuchadnezzar inserts a testimony. 00:04:58.000 --> 00:04:58.779 His story. 00:04:59.360 --> 00:05:00.779 Quite a remarkable story. 00:05:01.680 --> 00:05:04.920 He says in chapter four and verse one. 00:05:05.339 --> 00:05:09.639 King Nebuchadnezzar to the nations and peoples of every language who live in all the earth. 00:05:09.839 --> 00:05:11.439 He's not only addressing his empire. 00:05:11.699 --> 00:05:12.980 He's addressing all peoples. 00:05:13.420 --> 00:05:15.819 He's saying, folks, I've got something to tell you. 00:05:16.240 --> 00:05:17.500 It doesn't matter where you're from. 00:05:17.779 --> 00:05:19.680 It doesn't matter what your culture is. 00:05:19.680 --> 00:05:22.280 It doesn't matter what shared with them. 00:06:34.340 --> 00:06:38.019 In this case, the warning came by means of a dream. 00:06:38.019 --> 00:06:44.579 But the dream was even more terrifying because the dream did not have We've met Daniel before. 00:07:14.239 --> 00:07:17.899 Daniel was a young man at the very beginning of the book of Daniel. 00:07:18.339 --> 00:07:23.000 We've seen his interactions with the emperor before. 00:07:24.299 --> 00:07:29.519 And when he hears the dream, he himself is terrified. 00:07:29.519 --> 00:07:35.039 And the king said, Belshazzar, don't let the dream or its meaning alarm you. 00:07:36.060 --> 00:07:40.719 And Belshazzar said, I wish this dream related to somebody else. 00:07:41.419 --> 00:07:47.219 King, I wish I could tell you that this was the enemies who were the tree in your dream. 00:07:48.159 --> 00:07:50.579 He said, King, unfortunately the tree is you. 00:07:51.539 --> 00:07:52.759 This is your empire. 00:07:53.319 --> 00:07:54.519 This is your story.
