with the kings, choosing to honor Melchizedek, king of peace, the most high God, and to pass up taking wealth from Sodom. 00:03:15.800 --> 00:03:19.120 So Abram, Sodom, the wealth of Sodom, the wealth of wicked Sodom. 00:03:19.120 --> 00:03:20.680 So Abram has faith. 00:03:20.680 --> 00:03:28.080 But we see through Abram's stories and in a passage today in chapter 15, that Abram, he also feels this have taken everything for himself, all the food, the animals, all the riches. 00:09:46.240 --> 00:09:47.559 But Abram turned it down. 00:09:47.559 --> 00:09:54.199 He turned down all the possessions he could have taken because he didn't want to take anything from Sodom. 00:09:54.279 --> 00:09:57.899 He didn't want to associate himself with evil. 00:09:58.739 --> 00:10:02.579 So that the king of Sodom couldn't say, I have made Abram rich. 00:10:03.199 --> 00:10:06.379 So Abram turned down what he could have had for himself. 00:10:07.219 --> 00:10:09.639 And the thought is, I want to glorify
