00:07:56.240 --> 00:07:57.979 Now, all these years later, 00:07:57.979 --> 00:08:02.060 he has Rachel and now he has the flocks. 00:08:02.959 --> 00:08:05.500 But it comes at a cost, doesn't it? 00:08:05.539 --> 00:08:07.339 Because this deal with Laban 00:08:07.339 --> 00:08:12.259 turns out to be another six long years. 00:08:13.680 --> 00:08:17.139 It seems Jacob's wandering heart means gives to his people reassurances. 00:09:02.319 --> 00:09:04.839 God reminds us that he is faithful 00:09:04.839 --> 00:09:09.039 and God will always bring his people home. 00:09:09.639 --> 00:09:12.699 Home not to where we were born or where we grew up, 00:09:12.979 --> 00:09:15.839 but home to that ultimate land, 00:09:16.239 --> 00:09:18.839 heaven itself, the new creation.
