00:01:08.620 We see the good and the bad. 00:01:08.739 --> 00:01:12.000 We see a lot of different contrasts in these verses. 00:01:12.239 --> 00:01:17.259 But they all kind of lead us and guide us 00:06:03.719 They're deceiving. 00:06:04.459 --> 00:06:06.379 They're giving a false message. 00:06:06.739 --> 00:06:07.939 They're leading them astray. 00:06:08.639 --> 00:06:14.779 And you find that he is writing to them because there are serious errors that have come into the church. 00:06:16.019 --> 00:06:19.139 In chapter 2 verse 22 of 1 John. 00:06:19.819 --> 00:06:22.479 They have denied Jesus was the Christ. 00:06:23.159 --> 00:06:24.079 Serious error. 00:06:24.620 --> 00:06:26.459 In chapter 4 verse 2. 00:06:26.879 --> 00:06:29.019 They are denying that he came in the flesh. 00:06:29.019 --> 00:06:33.379 And then as we look at this chapter in verse 5 to 10. 00:06:33.579 --> 00:06:36.099 We see that they are in denial of sin. 00:06:37.180 --> 00:06:38.199 And all these things. 00:06:38.339 --> 00:06:40.199 They are major errors. 00:06:41.159 --> 00:06:44.879 They are things that are going to lead people away. 00:06:45.560 --> 00:06:48.219 And lead them down the
