of everyone in the world. 00:07:49.639 --> 00:07:55.019 Whether they believe in him, whether they've accepted him or rejected him, completely regardless. 00:07:56.120 --> 00:08:01.459 God is the Father of those who have chosen to trust him and to follow him. 00:08:01.860 --> 00:08:06.379 And in particular, God is the Father of those who have come to him through the Lord Jesus 00:08:06.379 --> congregation like this, there are lots of different experiences of what a father is like. 00:09:15.779 --> 00:09:18.980 Some of us have had fathers who have been great examples to us, 00:09:19.279 --> perfect, we can see, yes, that gives a little bit of a picture of what God is like for us. 00:09:35.079 --> 00:09:37.740 Other people, sadly, have had fathers who weren't so good. 00:09:38.240 --> 00:09:41.339 And they may look back on their childhood with very unhappy memories 00:09:41.339 --> 00:09:46.099 and think that their father really didn't do what a good father should 00:09:46.099 --> You may never have known him, so you don't have someone in that kind of role you can look back on. 00:10:01.519 --> 00:10:08.720 Whatever our experience, we can take God as being the best father that
