them in the New Testament, 00:04:31.439 --> 00:04:35.160 it is translated into the English word church. 00:04:35.160 --> 00:04:41.800 Now, if we look at one of the places where it isn't translated for the church, not so great for the idol business. 00:05:15.879 --> 00:05:22.939 And so what Demetrius does, realising that his income's dropping, 00:05:23.540 --> 00:05:26.819 he decides to whip the city up into a riot. 00:05:27.500 --> 00:05:32.959 And next thing you know, there's this large gathering in this amphitheatre, 00:05:33.719 --> 00:05:37.480 and it says this in Acts 19.32. 00:05:37.480 --> 00:05:49.200 Now, that's not the description of the church, 00:05:49.620 --> 00:05:52.160 but let me just pick up the word assembly there, 00:05:52.879 --> 00:05:55.180 is the Greek word ecclesia. 00:05:56.240 --> 00:06:00.140 It's translated elsewhere in the New Testament as church. 00:06:00.340 --> 00:06:01.800 So you could literally read this, 00:06:02.020 --> 00:06:03.180 the
