--> 00:09:15.319 However, the disciples did not fulfill some special sort of requirements 00:09:15.319 --> 00:09:18.819 in order to be filled with the Holy Spirit. 00:09:18.939 --> 00:09:21.419 They hadn't worked out some type of equation, 00:09:21.939 --> 00:09:24.319 and then they were filled. 00:09:24.320 --> 00:09:27.040 This is entirely a divine act, 00:09:27.340 --> 00:09:29.700 a work on God's part. 00:09:30.200 --> 00:09:32.720 Now, you remember that Jesus commands them in verse 4 and 5. 00:09:32.840 --> 00:09:36.320 They were commanded to stay and wait. 00:09:36.780 --> 00:09:40.340 They're not commanded to pray that the Holy Spirit will come. 00:09:40.420 --> 00:09:43.960 They're commanded simply to stay and to wait. 00:09:44.120 --> 00:09:45.360 Now, certainly in between time, house. 00:10:17.839 --> 00:10:23.360 We can assume it's the same upper room that they've been part of in the end of Jesus' ministry, 00:10:23.579 --> 00:10:28.199 and in these in-between days waiting for the day of Pentecost. 00:10:28.200 --> 00:10:30.000 But we don't know exactly what they're doing. 00:10:30.080 --> 00:10:35.020 But what we can know is that they weren't at this time praying. 00:10:55.419 --> 00:10:56.659 They could have been having a meal. 00:10:57.019 --> 00:10:58.779 They could have been discussing the Scripture. 00:10:59.139 --> 00:11:02.379 They could have been
