soul, 00:11:12.199 --> 00:11:13.299 darkness of the soul 00:11:13.299 --> 00:11:14.179 as we would call it, 00:11:14.919 --> 00:11:16.659 that to experience those things, 00:11:16.779 --> 00:11:17.620 to feel those things, 00:11:17.659 --> 00:11:18.779 and to express those things 00:11:18.779 --> 00:11:19.980 is actually sinful. 00:11:19.980 --> 00:11:23.980 They wrongly believe 00:11:23.980 --> 00:11:26.960 or at least wrongly behave 00:11:26.960 --> 00:11:31.200 as if joy cannot exist with grief, 00:11:31.820 --> 00:11:34.620 as if prayers cannot be made 00:11:34.620 --> 00:11:36.720 in the suffering itself 00:12:49.099 --> 00:12:51.679 as if that's what God's asking them 00:12:51.679 --> 00:12:52.199 to do here. 00:12:52.379 --> 00:12:54.079 I don't think that's what God is asking. express this kind of 00:13:03.779 --> 00:13:06.359 feigned thanksgiving and joy 00:13:06.359 --> 00:13:06.799 for something 00:13:06.799 --> 00:13:08.219 that he hasn't actually told them 00:13:08.219
