he's been given. 00:01:19.340 --> 00:01:23.040 And then verse 2, we meet a leper. 00:01:24.560 --> 00:01:29.340 We meet a leper who knows Jesus is exactly the person to come to. 00:01:30.159 --> 00:01:32.500 And the first thing for us to see is this. 00:01:33.680 --> 00:01:36.700 The leper, he knows his need. 00:01:37.240 --> 00:01:40.159 He knows his need. 00:01:40.159 --> 00:01:45.000 Now a leper in this context may mean he has leprosy. 00:01:45.079 --> 00:01:47.640 It could mean he's got a variety of skin diseases. 00:01:48.219 --> 00:01:50.579 But his skin is falling apart. 00:01:50.700 --> 00:01:53.879 He is in pain, in suffering. 00:01:54.879 --> 00:01:58.759 And as we read about in Leviticus, this has massive impacts on his life. 00:01:59.319 --> 00:02:01.879 It would walking. 00:03:01.319 --> 00:03:10.919 Now, he could have asked Jesus, you know, tell my friends, can you just be a bit nicer to me? 00:03:11.259 --> 00:03:12.879 Can you actually just tell the priest? 00:03:13.000 --> 00:03:14.780 Can they just let me in just briefly? 00:03:15.180 --> 00:03:20.060 Or maybe can you give me a new t-shirt just to cover up so no one actually sees what's wrong
