the island of Patmos, and he meets the risen Christ, the Son of Man. 00:00:26.000 --> 00:00:35.000 He has eyes like fire, the voice like many waters, and he is holding the seven stars while walking among the seven golden lampstands. 00:00:35.000 --> 00:00:53.179 This vision talks about patient endurance and calls for us to worship in the Spirit on the Lord's day and reminds us that Jesus, He is the first and the last, the Alpha and the Omega, the Living One who holds His church in His hand. 00:00:53.179 --> 00:01:02.179 As you listen to this sermon, ask yourself, what is Jesus showing me experienced this book in Scripture, this book in the Bible as one of great mystery, 00:02:18.280 --> 00:02:24.140 but one that, well, we should not be afraid of revelation. 00:02:24.139 --> 00:02:34.339 Much like we should not be afraid of the gospel, we should not be afraid of the Word of God, for it is living and active. 00:02:35.079 --> 00:02:43.459 It is good for us to read, for us When we talked about, 00:07:05.120 --> 00:07:05.639 for example, 00:07:05.779 --> 00:07:07.160 the seed and the soil, 00:07:07.839 --> 00:07:08.759 that Christ is saying, 00:07:08.839 --> 00:07:10.240 the seed represents the word, 00:07:10.339 --> 00:07:12.199 and the soil represents our hearts. 00:07:12.680 --> 00:07:13.360 So it's very, 00:07:13.480 --> 00:07:15.439 a lot more clear and oppression, 00:07:43.860 --> 00:07:45.259 or the pressure. 00:07:45.939 --> 00:07:48.219 Talking about himself 00:07:48.219 --> 00:07:49.819 and other Christians 00:07:49.819 --> 00:07:52.819 that are receiving some sort of pressure. 00:07:52.819 --> 00:07:55.099 and the kingdom, 00:07:55.740 --> 00:07:57.159 when we talk about this, 00:07:57.240 --> 00:08:00.279 that he is part of the kingdom of God. 00:08:00.360 --> 00:08:02.000 When we have talked about earlier 00:08:02.000 --> 00:08:03.300 in verse, 00:08:03.519 --> 00:08:05.180 let's see here, 00:08:05.639 --> 00:08:06.600 in verse six, 00:08:07.540 --> 00:08:08.180 when it says, 00:08:08.360 --> 00:08:09.579 he made us a kingdom, 00:08:09.839 --> 00:08:11.279 priest to his God and father, 00:08:11.420 --> 00:08:13.100 to him be glory and dominion 00:08:13.100 --> 00:08:13.899 forever and ever, 00:08:14.420 --> 00:08:14.600 right, 00:08:14.639 --> 00:08:16.480 that we are a part of that kingdom. 00:08:17.219 --> 00:08:18.259
