00:09:09.500 --> 00:09:10.819 for different purposes. 00:09:11.600 --> 00:09:12.679 There have actually been 00:09:12.679 --> 00:09:13.559 those who've used 00:09:13.559 --> 00:09:14.620 the book of Philemon 00:09:14.620 --> 00:09:16.100 to make an argument 00:09:16.100 --> 00:09:17.199 for slavery 00:09:17.199 --> 00:09:18.459 many years ago. 00:09:19.220 --> 00:09:20.740 But there's also been 00:09:20.740 --> 00:09:22.819 so many that have used this 00:09:22.819 --> 00:09:24.279 as a means for calling 00:09:24.279 --> 00:09:25.600 for the abolition of slavery. 00:09:25.659 --> 00:09:26.779 And I think we can all agree 00:09:26.779 --> 00:09:28.679 that that's where we land today, 00:09:28.679 --> 00:09:30.039 that this book is calling 00:09:30.039 --> 00:09:32.439 for the abolition of Colossae 00:09:42.559 --> 00:09:43.099 would have been 00:09:43.099 --> 00:09:44.259 considered slaves 00:09:44.259 --> 00:09:45.799 and it would be difficult 00:09:45.799 --> 00:09:47.319 for a small house church, 00:09:47.419 --> 00:09:49.779 probably 30 to 50 people in size, 00:09:50.079 --> 00:09:51.939 to change a whole system. 00:09:52.639 --> 00:09:53.959 And I love how Danny Akin,
