confronts every single worldview at different points. 00:07:23.739 --> 00:07:26.139 And it does combat with it. 00:07:26.819 --> 00:07:29.519 But what we also see in 1 Corinthians, 00:07:30.159 --> 00:07:31.459 in verse 24, 00:07:32.459 --> 00:07:34.500 is that it also connects. 00:07:34.779 --> 00:07:38.500 To those who are called both Greeks and Jews, 00:07:39.000 --> 00:07:41.239 they can see that there is indeed power in Christ. 00:07:41.379 --> 00:07:43.119 There is indeed wisdom in Christ, 00:07:43.159 --> 00:07:46.079 and far more than can be found on earth. 00:07:46.479 --> shapes how the message is heard, 00:08:01.859 --> 00:08:04.239 and how the message is spoken. 00:08:04.439 --> 00:08:10.179 And that's why Paul's sermons to the Gentiles can be distinguished from his it was evil. 00:08:47.679 --> 00:08:48.620 On the Tuesday, 00:08:48.740 --> 00:08:49.879 he believed God was real, 00:08:50.080 --> 00:08:51.419 and that the gospels were true. 00:08:52.840 --> 00:08:55.179 But he didn't become a Christian till the Friday, 00:08:55.179 --> 00:08:59.039 because his atheism wasn't primarily built upon the idea, 00:08:59.039 --> 00:09:00.239 that God couldn't exist. 00:09:00.239 --> 00:09:01.579 It was built on the supposition, 00:09:02.239 --> 00:09:03.679 that God was not worth following, 00:09:04.199 --> 00:09:05.239 that he was a homophobic,
