00:00:39.460 --> 00:00:44.740 And Daniel and some of his friends find themselves living as captives in a foreign land, in the 00:00:44.740 --> 00:00:51.400 land of Babylon, who in fact were the very nation who brought God's judgment upon his 00:00:51.400 --> 00:00:51.740 people. 00:00:51.740 --> 00:01:03.260 Imagine being a teenager, forcibly removed from your home to live with the people who 00:01:03.260 --> 00:01:06.120 have just plundered and pillaged your home. 00:01:06.120 --> 00:01:16.859 How easy it would be in that environment to compromise, to blend in, fearfully obey this 00:01:16.859 --> 00:01:18.640 idol-worshipping society. 00:01:19.840 --> 00:01:24.380 But Daniel remained true to Yahweh, Israel's God. 00:01:25.960 --> 00:01:30.480 And he was thrown into a den of for home. 00:02:20.039 --> 00:02:28.039 So, when Babylon the great made demands of Daniel and said, do this, worship this king, 00:02:28.219 --> 00:02:35.319 worship this image, Babylon had no
