would send his king into the world to rebuild it, 00:05:14.360 --> 00:05:15.360 to rebuild his kingdom. 00:05:15.940 --> 00:05:17.840 And he gives to us a beautiful vision 00:05:17.839 --> 00:05:20.359 of a king who will put down the rebellion, 00:05:21.019 --> 00:05:23.899 who will deal with all things that are wrong 00:05:23.899 --> 00:05:25.799 and put all things right. 00:05:26.219 --> 00:05:28.959 And he will wipe away every tear dry. 00:05:29.659 --> 00:05:32.039 And all that is broken will be fixed. 00:05:33.579 --> 00:05:35.000 Everything will be restored 00:05:35.000 --> 00:05:37.419 to how the king wants it to be. 00:05:38.899 --> 00:05:41.879 And people will be restored to a right relationship 00:05:41.879 --> 00:05:43.399 with the king they were created for. 00:05:43.599 --> 00:05:44.459 It will be paradise. 00:05:44.679 --> 00:05:46.000 That's the end of the story of the Bible. 00:05:46.000 --> 00:05:52.220 The Old Testament ends with 400 years of 00:05:59.720 who gets up and he says, 00:05:59.939 --> 00:06:01.360 get ready because the king is coming. 00:06:02.540 --> 00:06:05.379 People are looking round for the Lord of the universe 00:06:05.379 --> 00:06:06.819 to step onto the stage 00:06:06.819 --> 00:06:10.100 and up steps Jesus of Nazareth. 00:06:10.100 --> 00:06:12.220 And he says, 00:06:12.320 --> 00:06:12.960 here I am. --> 00:07:07.579 a little girl 00:07:07.579 --> 00:07:09.040 back from the dead. 00:07:09.879 --> 00:07:11.139 And the disciples are thinking, 00:07:11.480 --> 00:07:12.420 this is God's king. 00:07:12.519 --> 00:07:13.300 He's got the power 00:07:13.300 --> 00:07:14.560 and he's got the authority 00:07:14.560 --> 00:07:15.500 to put this broken world 00:07:15.500 --> 00:07:16.319 back together again. 00:07:17.300 --> 00:07:18.360 To quash rebellion. 00:07:19.800 --> 00:07:21.720 And then things take a strange turn. 00:07:23.180 --> 00:07:25.220 Jesus starts warning his followers 00:07:25.220 --> 00:07:26.459 that he will get arrested. 00:07:27.959 --> 00:07:29.120 John the Baptist, 00:07:29.620 --> 00:07:31.420 he gets thrown into prison. 00:07:32.540 --> 00:07:33.680 Jesus performs miracles 00:07:33.680 --> 00:07:34.300 in Chorazin 00:07:34.300 --> 00:07:34.980 and Bethsaida 00:07:34.980 --> 00:07:35.959 and Capernaum 00:07:35.959 --> 00:07:38.139 and people do not acknowledge him 00:07:38.139 --> 00:07:39.980 as king. 00:07:40.860 --> 00:07:42.439 And the religious authorities, 00:07:42.819 --> 00:07:44.220 they start to plot 00:07:44.220 --> 00:07:44.939 to going so wrong? 00:08:22.839 --> 00:08:26.719 How come life is as it is? 00:08:28.519 --> 00:08:29.659 Look at verse 47. 00:08:31.859 --> 00:08:32.319 Jesus says, 00:08:32.320 --> 00:08:32.620 again, 00:08:32.740 --> 00:08:33.480 the kingdom of heaven 00:08:33.480 --> 00:08:35.800 is like a net 00:08:35.800 --> 00:08:37.760 that was thrown into the sea 00:08:37.760 --> 00:08:40.440 and gathered fish of every kind. 00:08:41.640 --> 00:08:42.640 When the net was full, 00:08:42.800 --> 00:08:43.940 men drew it ashore, 00:08:44.260 --> 00:08:44.660 sat down 00:08:44.660 --> 00:08:45.960 and sorted the good 00:08:45.960 --> 00:08:46.760 into containers, 00:08:47.840 --> 00:08:48.760 but threw the bad away. 00:08:50.660 --> 00:08:51.379 Two points this morning. 00:08:51.460 -->
