00:06:43.719 Look over to John chapter 18, look down at verse 36. 00:06:44.239 --> 00:06:50.240 Here, Pilate is asking Jesus, and Jesus makes a pretty direct statement that applies to what not be delivered to the Jews, but now is my kingdom not from hands. 00:07:20.560 --> 00:07:24.819 That's an important statement that Jesus declares. 00:07:25.639 --> 00:07:30.860 Jesus is making a statement, because you remember, Jesus already instituted the church with the 00:07:30.860 --> 00:07:31.839 disciples. 00:07:32.920 --> 00:07:40.019 Those things were fully functional in that context, but God says, it isn't for my servants to do 00:07:40.019 --> 00:07:40.360 what? 00:07:40.759 --> 00:07:41.259 Fight. 00:07:41.360 --> 00:07:45.079 In other words, to take over or overthrow a point in time. 00:08:41.240 --> 00:08:46.480 In other words, we are not physically in the kingdom, okay? 00:08:47.340 --> 00:08:52.379 A dominionist's idea is that we have been given the kingdom. 00:08:53.899 --> 00:08:59.480 Key theological point to understand what they're saying. 00:08:59.860 --> 00:09:04.159 Because if you grab a hold of that, it's going to take you down a road that's that idea of kingdom. 00:12:54.639 --> 00:13:09.460 And we'll get back to this in just a little later on because and how this influences, this has influenced even solid Baptist churches who say they stand on the word of God have let false philosophies drag in. 00:13:10.199 --> 00:13:19.179 And we'll talk about how those philosophies show up in our life and how the devil loves to twist things and how we need to be careful of that. 00:13:19.179 --> 00:13:25.559 But let's continue on here because believers are not yet reigning and ruling with Christ. 00:13:26.120 --> 00:13:28.359 You know, I want you to understand that's our future destiny. 00:13:29.120 --> 00:13:36.500 And the apostle Paul corrected the Corinthians when they had slipped into kind of what you might say a proto-dominionist know, take a look over into 1 Corinthians chapter 4. 00:13:47.000 --> 00:13:48.879 1 Corinthians chapter 4. 00:13:49.179 --> 00:13:59.179 That's an interesting verse and dynamic because Paul's actually kind of being corrective or even sarcastic at this point. 00:13:59.759 --> 00:14:01.739 Because notice what he tells him here. 00:14:02.719 --> 00:14:03.939 Now you're full. 00:14:04.259 --> 00:14:05.259 Now you're rich. 00:14:05.319 --> 00:14:07.419 You have reigned as kings without us. 00:14:08.939 --> 00:14:14.399 In other words, Paul's getting after him saying, you guys think you're reigning as kings right now, but you're wrong. 00:14:15.100 --> 00:14:16.059 Because notice the next thing. 00:14:16.399 --> 00:14:20.159 And I would to God you did reign that we might reign with you. 00:14:20.939 --> 00:14:22.519 In other words, he's making a statement. 00:14:22.620 --> 00:14:29.639 He says, it's not your place to sit in judgment or to think that you're going to become, that
