00:09:26.300 These were all Jewish names. 00:09:27.259 --> 00:09:30.920 And then we have Epaphras, Luke and Demas. 00:09:31.240 --> 00:09:32.620 Well, they were Greek names, 00:09:32.759 --> 00:09:34.460 so there was different cultures, 00:09:35.080 --> 00:09:36.900 there was different religious backgrounds, 00:09:36.899 --> 00:09:40.899 there were men and women like Mark and Nympha. 00:09:48.899 was a runaway slave. 00:09:50.059 --> 00:09:51.360 And then in verse 14, 00:09:51.500 --> 00:09:53.000 we have Luke, 00:09:53.779 --> 00:09:55.559 who was a doctor, 00:09:56.500 --> 00:09:57.919 a respected person. 00:09:58.100 --> 00:10:01.120 So there's a rich diversity of people, 00:10:01.179 --> 00:10:01.639 isn't there? 00:10:01.939 --> 00:10:03.559 Socially, nationally, 00:10:03.860 --> 00:10:05.159 religiously, economically, 00:10:05.159 --> 00:10:08.799 from all kinds of different backgrounds. 00:10:10.240 --> 00:10:11.519 You see, this tells us 00:10:11.519 --> had run away 00:12:45.899 --> 00:12:47.840 from his master, Philemon. 00:12:48.240 --> 00:12:49.580 And under Roman law, 00:12:50.299 --> 00:12:51.779 running away from your master 00:12:51.779 --> 00:12:53.659 was punishable by death. 00:12:53.659 --> 00:12:56.179 But in God's goodness, 00:12:56.719 --> 00:12:58.559 it seems that Onesimus 00:12:58.559 --> 00:13:00.439 has met Paul. 00:13:01.519
