the world's supreme leading power. 00:05:13.480 --> 00:05:21.759 And as a show of his mighty strength and his great power, if you look back in chapter 3, 00:05:21.860 --> 00:05:29.819 verse 1, we read that King Nebuchadnezzar set up an image of gold 90 feet high and 9 feet 00:05:29.819 --> 00:05:34.319 wide and set it up on the plain of Jura in the province of Babylon. 00:05:34.640 --> 00:05:37.300 This enormous, big statue. 00:05:37.300 --> 00:05:43.139 And he called all the nations and all the people of every language to come and worship 00:05:43.139 --> 00:05:46.139 and bow down to this image. 00:05:47.020 --> 00:05:48.520 We read in verse 6, 00:05:49.540 --> 00:05:58.960 whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into the blazing furnace. 00:05:58.959 --> 00:06:06.919 Nebuchadnezzar ruled with an iron fist. 00:06:08.060 --> 00:06:13.919 But Nebuchadnezzar was soon to learn that he was not the kind of king he thought he was. 00:06:14.519 --> 00:06:22.060 Through this dream, God made it crystal clear that he was the only true king. 00:06:22.060 --> 00:06:24.040 So look at verse 17. 00:06:26.620 --> 00:06:29.040 Chapter 4, verse 17. learn, that he is not king, but that God is king. 00:07:31.620 --> 00:07:43.360 In fact, this is something all of us need to learn as we build our own little kingdoms and be king of our own lives. 00:07:44.959 --> 00:07:51.259 Now, chapter 4 is something that is very personal because this is Nebuchadnezzar's testimony. 00:07:51.259 --> 00:07:58.620 It's actually a retelling of his story of faith, of how he came to love and honour the true king. 00:07:59.420 --> 00:08:03.860 And he wants us also to love the true king. 00:08:03.860 --> 00:08:06.699 So go back to verse 1 of chapter 4.
