into socioeconomic and generational segments. 00:15:17.360 --> 00:15:25.279 Some churches use demographic marketing to appeal to different music styles with country western or rock or jazz services. 00:15:25.279 --> 00:15:37.139 I read recently of a growing movement of cowboy churches where preachers deliver brief talks from their horses to other riders in their saddles 00:15:37.139 --> 00:15:40.419 and they all depart with the song Happy Trails. 00:15:40.419 --> 00:15:46.959 It's what's called the homogenous unit principle. 00:15:48.199 --> 00:15:51.079 People like to be with people move away from the homogenous unit principle, 00:20:18.099 --> 00:20:21.079 which divides us based on age and stage of life 00:20:21.079 --> 00:20:23.119 or ethnicity or tradition or whatever it is.
