through 18 00:05:25.500 --> 00:05:28.879 that Paul found joy in knowing 00:05:28.879 --> 00:05:33.620 that the gospel was spreading throughout the area 00:05:33.620 --> 00:05:36.779 in spite of the fact that he was in prison. 00:05:37.339 --> 00:05:39.220 In fact, he found joy in knowing 00:05:39.220 --> 00:05:41.939 that through his being in chains 00:05:41.939 --> 00:05:43.160 to those Roman soldiers, 00:05:43.720 --> 00:05:46.100 you know, swapping in and out around the clock, 00:05:47.100 --> 00:05:49.579 many of those soldiers in the guard, 00:05:50.220 --> 00:05:51.000 Caesar's guard, 00:05:51.680 --> 00:05:52.740 they were hearing the gospel. 00:05:52.740 --> 00:05:55.860 He even found joy in the fact 00:05:55.860 --> 00:05:58.639 that he was told there are people preaching 00:05:58.639 --> 00:06:02.840 and they're doing it not with good motives. 00:06:03.079 --> 00:06:05.199 They're doing it to make you jealous, 00:06:06.060 --> 00:06:07.340 to make you envious. people are hearing 00:06:27.420 --> 00:06:29.220 through his witness to the soldiers. 00:06:29.939 --> 00:06:30.939 The gospel is being preached 00:06:30.939 --> 00:06:32.199 even with poor motives. God was going to work out 00:08:24.779 --> 00:08:27.599 his future well-being. 00:08:28.159 --> 00:08:29.180 Here's the first point. 00:08:29.180 --> 00:08:30.959 We can rejoice over the fact talking about being delivered 00:09:49.860 --> 00:09:51.360 from prison, 00:09:53.059 --> 00:09:54.559 getting out, having freedom, 00:09:54.559 --> 00:09:57.000 or is he talking about 00:09:57.000 --> 00:09:59.740 ultimate deliverance 00:09:59.740 --> 00:10:03.639 and being in the presence of the Lord 00:10:03.639 --> 00:10:05.559 free from all the stress 00:10:06.220 --> 00:10:07.340 of life in this world? 00:10:07.340 --> 00:10:09.780 Now, 00:10:10.460 --> 00:10:12.860 Paul has been talking about 00:10:12.860 --> 00:10:14.280 his imprisonment 00:10:14.280 --> 00:10:16.740 in chapter one
