00:00:36.079 --> 00:00:42.780 And he concludes his case at verse 20 of last week's text in chapter 3. 00:00:43.740 --> 00:00:53.800 He wants to be so clear that anyone, whether Jewish, of Jewish descent or otherwise, lives under the curse of sin. 00:00:54.640 --> 00:00:56.900 He says in Romans chapter 2 and verse 12, 00:00:57.100 --> 00:01:02.079 For all who have sinned without the law will reached the point in Paul's writing 00:02:30.959 --> 00:02:34.779 where he begins to unpack the good news of his thesis, 00:02:34.780 --> 00:02:40.280 now having spent such time on the bad news. this morning to either, 00:03:07.680 --> 00:03:11.520 number one, believe for the first time in the gospel of Jesus Christ 00:03:11.520 --> 00:03:13.939 and find the remedy for your sinful state, he's not ashamed of the gospel 00:06:55.019 --> 00:06:56.759 or he's proud of the gospel 00:06:56.759 --> 00:07:00.959 because it's the power of God for salvation. 00:07:01.299 --> 00:07:02.560 For, verse 17, 00:07:02.560 --> 00:07:07.720 in it the righteousness of God is revealed 00:07:07.720 --> 00:07:10.259 from faith for faith, right? 00:07:10.620 --> 00:07:12.819 So he's come back to this tell us 00:07:22.079 --> 00:07:26.879 why we cannot accomplish the righteousness required by God 00:07:26.879 --> 00:07:29.000 so that we will seek to understand 00:07:29.000 --> 00:07:32.800 that we the righteousness of God 00:12:00.980 --> 00:12:02.759 is that it is spoken of 00:12:02.759 --> 00:12:04.399 in the Old Testament. 00:12:05.500 --> 00:12:06.779 And there's an inclination in me
