an unnamed church, 00:07:17.060 --> 00:07:21.240 here John is actually writing to an individual, Gaius. 00:07:21.360 --> 00:07:27.519 And this is about as close as we're going to get to a piece of personal first century correspondence. 00:07:27.519 --> 00:07:32.919 Most likely, 1, 2, and 3 John were all delivered in a package. 00:07:33.379 --> 00:07:35.379 And they were sent to different areas. 00:07:35.519 --> 00:07:38.659 And this letter went specifically to Gaius. 00:07:39.000 --> 00:07:42.639 And what we're going to see in this little letter 00:07:42.639 --> 00:07:49.379 is really what can make up the elements of our warmth 00:07:49.379 --> 00:07:52.639 and how we love one another well in the church. 00:07:52.639 --> 00:07:55.079 We're going to look at it in three points this our day, we run the risk of caring too little or too much about our bodies. 00:12:09.580 --> 00:12:16.679 And so let me just give a really short theology of the body if you're like tempted to downplay
