which he lives, he is active in his worship and his devotion and his love for God and his words. 00:06:06.160 --> 00:06:14.740 Now, our verses here, the verses that Neil read out, verses 1 to 16, they are full of what your primary teacher at school used to say, doing words. 00:06:15.820 --> 00:06:17.040 They're full of verbs. 00:06:17.040 --> 00:06:27.379 That is, what he's trying to say is that all of him, every part of him, worships in response to God's lavish grace. 00:06:28.100 --> 00:06:35.640 He's telling us that there's no part of him that is uninvolved in treasuring God, loving God need to ask ourselves as we look at this is, are we head-to-toe all in with our worship? 00:07:01.459 --> 00:07:05.079 Let me show you how this works. 00:07:05.180 --> 00:07:07.859 Firstly, see how he is all in with his mind. 00:07:09.000 --> 00:07:10.359 Verse 7, what does he write? 00:07:10.459 --> 00:07:16.459 He says, I praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. 00:07:16.539 --> 00:07:19.060 Verse 15, I meditate. 00:07:19.179 --> 00:07:21.519 There's our word from last week, meaning he chews it over. 00:07:21.639 --> 00:07:26.299 Remember, I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. 00:07:26.699 --> 00:07:27.579 So what is he doing? 00:07:27.579 --> 00:07:33.699 He's devoting himself to learning, to considering, to meditating on God's word. 00:07:33.759 --> 00:07:38.620 He's making every effort to fill up his mind with God's word. 00:07:38.699 --> 00:07:43.979 To have it as the thing, not a thing, the thing that shapes his mind.
