--> 00:05:48.300 The difference between science and the Bible. 00:05:48.540 --> 00:05:50.460 Apparent contradictions in the Bible. 00:05:51.140 --> 00:05:52.340 Moral restrictions. 00:05:53.300 --> thriving. 00:06:19.039 --> 00:06:22.319 God's faithfulness to his people is unchanging. 00:06:23.120 --> 00:06:28.620 And he wants to strengthen you today to endure well. 00:06:28.620 --> 00:06:36.280 The question I believe this text puts before us this morning 00:06:36.280 --> 00:06:44.899 is how do we respond when Jesus's words confront us 00:06:44.899 --> 00:06:49.259 or when others walk away? 00:06:49.259 --> 00:06:55.459 And the wisdom I believe this passage also provides is this. 00:06:56.599 --> 00:07:00.599 When confronted with Jesus's difficult teachings, 00:07:00.980 --> 00:07:01.980 he wants you, 00:07:02.699 --> 00:07:05.759 he wants me to hold on to his words, 00:07:06.180 --> 00:07:11.939 to be strengthened by the life that the spirit gives through them. 00:07:11.939 --> 00:07:17.860 I believe this text shows us at least three reasons 00:07:17.860 --> 00:07:20.699 to cherish and hold on to Christ's words. 00:07:20.879 --> 00:07:21.139 One, 00:07:21.779 -->
