pattern for meeting with his disciples. 00:10:05.000 --> 00:10:08.559 He's the one setting this pattern to meet with his disciples. 00:10:09.659 --> 00:10:14.039 They began expecting to meet with him assembled with the doors shut? 00:12:24.620 --> 00:12:29.460 And that phrase signifies the doors were locked, barred, and bolted. 00:12:30.319 --> 00:12:31.980 And we're given the reason for this. 00:12:32.059 --> 00:12:34.360 It's for fear of the Jews. 00:12:36.539 --> 00:12:38.659 Maybe you've been hiding somewhere. 00:12:39.299 --> 00:12:41.019 Maybe it's even just a game of hide and seek. 00:12:41.019 --> 00:12:45.000 But there are certain sounds that make you get that butterflies in your stomach. 00:12:45.639 --> 00:12:47.919 I can only imagine if you're with those disciples, 00:12:48.139 --> 00:12:51.460 the sound of a lot of people walking on the street or soldiers, 00:12:51.639 --> 00:12:53.240 maybe the temple guard in your imagination, 00:12:53.460 --> 00:12:56.019 marching again with those torches and lanterns. 00:12:57.279 --> 00:12:59.480 The sound of a knock would be terrifying. 00:13:00.240 --> 00:13:01.840 Make your skin curdle. 00:13:03.620 --> 00:13:06.539 See, the authorities had already killed their leader, Jesus. 00:13:06.539 --> 00:13:09.759 It would be nothing for them to kill his followers next. 00:13:10.539 --> 00:13:15.120 On top of that, there were rumors spreading that very day that they had stolen the body. 00:13:18.059 --> 00:13:21.240 God loves to turn those fears into gladness. 00:13:21.779 --> 00:13:23.079 He transforms
