gave the appearance that he was actually walking on water. 00:04:44.819 --> 00:04:51.899 Mark also records for us that Jesus walked on water. 00:04:53.259 --> 00:04:56.779 But the problem for us and for our modern minds is, 00:04:57.519 --> 00:04:59.639 we say it just couldn't happen. 00:05:00.719 --> 00:05:02.379 At best, it's an illusion. 00:05:02.379 --> 00:05:08.659 Some scholars even say that Jesus must have been walking along the shore, 00:05:08.819 --> 00:05:12.240 or he was walking on a sandbank or a mudflat. 00:05:13.300 --> 00:05:16.719 He possibly couldn't be walking on water. 00:05:17.719 --> 00:05:23.060 After all, science has proven that there is no such thing as a miracle. 00:05:23.060 --> 00:05:27.399 The laws of nature, density and gravity, 00:05:27.819 --> 00:05:32.620 all prove that this event recorded here could not have happened. 00:05:34.060 --> 00:05:36.120 But there's a problem with that, isn't there? 00:05:36.180 --> 00:05:40.680 Because science can only prove natural causes. 00:05:42.199 --> 00:05:44.019 It's a science of nature. 00:05:44.019 --> 00:05:48.500 It has no way of dealing with supernatural events. 00:05:48.639 --> 00:05:49.740 It
