And so well did he do at Cambridge while he studied maths 00:02:33.940 --> 00:02:39.020 that he graduated top of his year with the highest honours. 00:02:39.220 --> 00:02:44.280 So here's a guy in his Especially Henry Martin, he dies at the age of 31. 00:03:58.219 --> 00:04:02.280 Presumably that's the question that Theophilus, remember the man that Luke is writing for, 00:04:02.280 --> 00:04:08.120 he is asking himself as he looks out and he observes the early church in action. 00:04:09.280 --> 00:04:14.620 So he looks out and he sees men and women who have been with Jesus income, 00:04:55.699 --> 00:04:59.879 giving up some of that precious free time to come and serve the church, 00:05:00.399 --> 00:05:05.819 of people approaching retirement age and while the rest of the watching world thinks 00:05:05.819 --> 00:05:08.939 holiday home south of France, kick it back, it's my time, 00:05:09.439 --> 00:05:13.939 you think, how can I best serve God with this spare time
