00:12:04.620 --> 00:12:06.139 and this was the message, 00:12:06.600 --> 00:12:10.399 telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, 00:12:10.519 --> 00:12:12.259 who is Lord of all, 00:12:12.639 --> 00:12:15.139 whatever country or nation you are from. 00:12:17.320 --> 00:12:19.480 And then at the end of his talk, 00:12:19.700 --> 00:12:21.240 look at verse 47. 00:12:22.759 --> 00:12:24.000 Then Peter said, 00:12:24.120 --> 00:12:27.840 Can anyone keep these people from being baptised with water? 00:12:28.100 --> 00:12:31.080 They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have, 00:12:31.080 --> 00:12:36.940 so he ordered that they be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ. 00:12:38.100 --> 00:12:42.240 So, baptism is related to hearing about Jesus, 00:12:42.900 --> one hand, 00:13:52.299 --> 00:13:55.000 and through the shape he would be able to communicate 00:13:55.000 --> 00:13:57.339 and understand the other person. 00:13:57.879 --> 00:14:01.159 And this blind and deaf man was told the good news about Jesus, 00:14:01.379 --> 00:14:04.199 and in response, he too wanted to get baptised. 00:14:04.819 --> 00:14:06.399 But somewhere along the line, 00:14:06.519 --> 00:14:08.199 the communication had broken down. 00:14:09.159 --> 00:14:13.159 This poor man thought he had to jump into a pool. 00:14:14.039 --> 00:14:15.240 Now, if you're blind, 00:14:16.059 --> 00:14:18.639 that would be a huge step of faith, wouldn't it? 00:14:18.639 --> 00:14:20.519 Being told to jump 00:14:20.519 --> 00:14:24.799 and not being able to see what you are
